POV: You're being forced to go to a school dance by your parents. You hate social events. They make you anxious. Still, your parents are determined to get you to make friends. You enter the building and you can already feel a panic attack creeping over you. The gym is hot and crowded and strobe lights are going off everywhere. There are way too many people crowded in here and you feel yourself beginning to tear up. As more people rush in around you, you feel your breathing growing more and more erratic. You...You have to get out of here. You're finally able to stumble into the bathroom. You refuse to look at yourself in the mirror. You already know what you look like: red puffy eyes, sweating bullets, throat dry and most importantly, the inability to breathe properly. You stumble into a stall and lock yourself in before you curl up into a little ball in the corner, with your knees pulled up beneath your chin and your arms wrapped around your legs. You rock yourself back and forth to ease yourself but find it fruitless. The world is spinning and you can now only faintly hear the music playing in the gym. This was a terrible idea. You knew it all along. And now, you're paying the price alone in the bathroom.
This sounds exactly like my school dance experience. My parents forced me to go, and I had a panic attack and spent the entire time sobbing on the floor of the bathroom
@@lemdem I'll never understand the reasoning behind parents forcing kids to go to school dances. They're meant to be fun experiences, but if the child is guaranteed to not enjoy themselves for whatever reason, they're better off staying home. Less fuss on the ends of both parents and child.
Why does it feel like one of those moments in movies where someone ends up getting shot and everything slows down for that person as they're looking around the scene
This feels like when you realise a world that once seemed so fun and nice is actually distorted and depressing but that was a while ago and you just don't care anymore, living your life slowly floating by and enjoying the little things waiting for death
Too bad I woke up too early........at a raw age of 13 and I am currently 14 Still a long way to go from being freed by the sweet death but is enough time to prepare for it

*POV : **_You are an old zoomer dying in a dementia home when a old song comes on radio. You don't remember where you first heard it but reminds you about some old feelings of happiness and nostalgia._*
I feel like this is a very accurate prediction of my lonely ass future where I will come home from work and just sit there totally alone with no one to talk to
The worst is the way it gets to that point, you realize that your classmates and "friends" never text you first, whenever you are in a group of people almost nobody adress you unless you speak to them first, and when you do they give you short concice answers. Its in the little details that you realize that you are getting alienated. The others don't care for you for some reason, not as much as the others. You are like a ghost that only rarely manifest and when you do the others seem uneasy, bored, or downright disgusted with your presence. Somtimes it was becaus of somthing, like being the least favorable classmate or collague becaus you were the worst among your peers. Somtimes you just don't know why. Those are the worst scenarios, the ones where people turn thier back on you and slowly drift away but you aren't sure why, you try to come up with a concrete reason but just can't, its as if theres somthing in your eyes that just isn't right. Finding love becomes impossible, potential partners don't even want you as a friend, you try and try, maybe next year. Or the one after that. But it just keeps going. At some point the rejection becomes so overwhelming that you can't take trying anymore. Its like a nightmare that slowly unfolds, at some point you notice that the water is boiling. The advantage of youth has been drained from your body. Wrinkles settle as valleys on your face eroded over time by tears. The maws of time chewing in your bones and legiments, the only reminder of your early years being bitter loneliness, academic failure, ridicule, emotional abuse, bullying and the acne scars on your cheeks. At some point you can't even look yourself in the mirror anymore. I know i don't, i dont want to. As you go to sleep in your tiny crammed apartment, you remember some silly song from when you still had some hope.
@@thesaddestdude3575 damn, and I thought I was anxious about my future. I at least see some solace in the fact that, lonely as I may be, the people who may abandon me will probably live a happy life with whomever they ended up being with
It's the beat. The beat sounds much like a heartbeat paired with the terrifyingly slow music, makes for a simulation of death. It brings visions of armageddon to the listener which makes you feel that sad yet fond feeling remembering back when we call nostolgia. That same feeling is what death or the end of the world triggers. Sad that it's ended, but happy that it happened. I'm sorry for having you visualize such disaster.

This actually reminds me of an old memory when I was young. I was half asleep at that time, me and my parents went to this carnival and well.. as things go, I had fun there, though most of the memories of what we did there have been forgotten in time, there are still some that remains. One of em is me being half-asleep. My parents slowly putting me on the back seat of our car, as my eyelids were slowly closing itself from exhaustion. It was almost midnight that faithful event, when my parents went inside the car and me slowly falling to sleep. But before that, before I lost the rest of my memories that fun and happy night of my childhood. I recall looking at the side window of our car, my dad was already driving as we slowly made our way out of the vicinity of the Carnival we went. All that I can remember that time was seeing the carnival lights, the cars that went in and out of it, the fireworks, and even the Ferris wheel.... but there was also another thing that I won't forget when I saw that. That thing was the sound... muffled because I was inside the car, and slowly loosing its magnitude from us moving away. All that I recall, was the laughter, joy, and happiness coming out of that carnival, as the music of muffled tune like this music video gave was slowly imprinted in my the far reaches of my brain. I dunno what you guys are talking about, but for me, this doesn't sound anywhere near death or dying or of any sorts to me. All that I can hear from this are those muffled memories of yore, our childhood, dreams, things of those sorts, but most of all, memories of young me inside that car my dad drove. It's rather soothing to say the least.
Gotta love how everyone hears this and collectively we all start thinking about death. It's as if we all know deep down that the feeling this sing envokes is eerily similar to the feeling of slowly slipping away into death; the calmness and clarity of thoughts as you know life itself will eventually end.
The beat is similar to a heartbeat, and the general muffled sound is probably what makes it sound like you are on the verge of consciousness. Of course the slowness helps. Overall the song terrifies me 10/10
take the 0.5 version and try this : 1.25 : calm synthwave 1.5 : rolling down the street in your car at night 1.75 : dance rythm 2.0 : the original nightmare except it's worse
This is the song the spaghetti in my house hears as I continue to lie face down on my bed thinking about how I desperately want to make spaghetti but also being to busy lying face down on my bed to make spaghetti. They know the day of reckoning is coming and they do not know whether they wish to delay its arrival or if they want it to just come and end their dread and suffering so they may live happier in another life.
POV of a 30 year old man named John - Year 2030 - Dimension 1914: After reconnecting the air traffic routes, you clicked the finish button and turned around. You knew there was no escape. This didn’t matter though, as you knew that your friends and family would be safe on a plane to Elsaß-Lothringen. You looked to your wife, Susan, and smiled. Her arm takes hold of yours as you both turn to face the 4 mile high wall of water coming your way. You used the advanced technology to put on a song from your distant past. One you hadn’t heard since you left your home dimension. As the music came on through the airport speakers, you and Susan began to dance, enjoying the flashbacks to your olden days in 2009. This song jogged your memory and let you recall all of your positive life experiences. You remembered sitting at the dinner table with your sister when your parents brought out waffles. You remember your first time riding shotgun with your friend on a touge drift run. You remember the promising and loving words your parents gave you before they died on that fateful August day. You remember your fist kiss with Susan in that Infinite IKEA. You remember the first time you got drunk on vodka while playing strategy games with Malina. Time seems to slow down as the dancing continues, and seconds later, the air blast from the massive wave headed right toward you shatters the airport windows. Death was on your doorstep, but you didn’t stop dancing. Instead, you and Susan dance faster and faster and the song can barely be heard over roar of the oncoming water. You embraced her, and she embraced you. Both of you shared a kiss as the wave was seconds away from hitting. You knew your death had come, but you embraced it. Your life had been grand and you had done many things that nobody thought was possible. Best of all is that Susan had been there almost every step of the way. You had lived together, and now you’d die together. As the last of these thoughts were taken away from you, the roaring of water intensified, the song finally stopped, and so did your heart…

@@DoktorValkyria I talk in my sleep,, which I hate because I feel ill say like I’m suicidal or some other secret. Mostly because I don’t need help, and therapy would be a motive to find the easiest way to kill myself. Which would be good, but still.
@Samantha McKenzie probably, who knows. We are all related in a sense :D
