Tip for putting everything together (deutsche Version weiter unten): 1. Make sure that the openings for connecting the pieces are all opened towards the same direction (in the video at 3:25 they are opened towards the right and the new element comes from the right) 2. You can make the process easier by folding the part of each piece that will not be used to connect to another piece to the inside of the piece (if your openings face to the right, you can fold the two triangles that point to the right to the inside of the piece). Is different than the others, i got stuck for a long time, like most of the people who tried and comment. I think you should explain that. I solved it by glue, and it also helped me to keep the star togheter. It´s really beatiful.

Also ich habe den Stern nachgefaltet. Im Video sieht das ja schön und vor Allem das Zusammenstecken einfach aus.... Nun sieht mein Stern sehr mitgenommen aus und will immer noch nicht wirklich halten- zwei größere Löcher in der Mitte, die im Video nur klein erkennbar sind. Werde wohl mehr Klebeband brauchen. Schade eigentlich, denn das Video ist gut und ich habe mich exakt an die Anleitung gehalten und habe auch exakt gefaltet :-P
Ein schöner Stern, ich hatte nur 20x20 Papier. Der Stern ist so groß, das er gut als Tannenbaumspitze zu gebrauchen ist. Das mit dem stecken hat bei mir aber gut geklappt. Danke

die Anleitung ist sehr gut, da muss man auch die Sprache nicht verstehen. Ich habe den Stern völlig ohne Ton nachgebastelt. um etwas Stabilität reinzubekommen habe ich Büroklammern zwischen die Elemente geklemmt dann fällt beim letzten Schritt nicht alles auseinander. Why didn't you add the whole tutorial? Where is the end of this? It is impossible to connect the last piece to the star. How did you do it? Did you add glue? This is an elegant idea but unfortunatly my version did not articulate I suspect because it is not made clear that you have to make a mirror image of each element to get it to join. This is the problem with modular origami - the designers delight in their ingenuity and forget the most important element - puting it together
This video is only marginally helpful. It gives great detail in folding the units, however, it does not explain how to attach the final piece and close the star. Once the 6th unit is attached to the 5th unit...all the pockets are facing the same direction and there is no place to attach the 6th unit to the 1st unit. Sigh. What a waste of time. Diagram is not helpful either. 2 x Sigh.
jamowa to attach the last one to 1st one is the same as assembling the others ones. At the end though Insert the sides of the last/1st part in the 1st/last part "pocket" depending on how you connected all the parts and it should look like a full star
Leider nicht, aber die Größe von Spitze zu Spitze beträgt 24 cm und die Tiefe bzw. Dicke 18 cm. Also ein ganz schöner Brocken. Ich würde aber nächstes Mal 120g Papier dafür nehmen, dann ist er stabiler. Ich habe deinen Froschkönig gesehen =o) Wo bekommst du denn das zweifarbige Papier her?

Super Sache dieser Stern. Hab ihn auch direkt ma nachgefaltet mit 15x15cm Papier... Sieht klasse aus, werd es auch ma mit kleinen sternen versuchen... use thick stiff or foil paper...or else you will need tape to hold it together!
