Thank you for watching! I’ll definitely be bringing a trash bag next time around haha.. plenty species of fish have also been depleted, always happy to get fish back to reproduce! 🤙🏽🙏🏽
Howzit braddah & thank you for watching! .. all I can say is maybe can try google maps the area out and can find the spot. I know some braddahs that would be upset if I post the name of the location & I totally understand why. Tight lines braddah 🤙🏽
@@Chachoboy near the boat ramp, to the left at times but mostly to the right. It’s good to look for em but most of the time you’ll see plenty people lined up on the shoreline. No be shame to jump in on the action lol
Happy to have been able to pick up at least some of the trash.. wish I did so sooner haha. That is crazy though & glad that you found it before anyone got hurt! Last place you would expect that.. Tight lines! 🤙🏽🙏🏽
Yeah with my experience bro you have to paddle your lines out or try to cast atleast near / past the buoy. Kailua beach gradually slopes down and I think the fish stay in the channels.
@@kaibirrrd3051 I have a dumb question about paddling your lines out, is it taking you rod on a surfboard/kayak/standup paddle board and casting it out and coming back with the bail open or is it opening your bail at shore and paddling out with the line in your hand
@@Chachoboy no such thing as a dumb question! Honestly if you’re by yourself, can try the first option but if you’re with other people, definitely the second option works as you can paddle the lines out while your friend watches/ opens the spool. Hope this helps
Sorry about that.. the audio is kind of messed up, didn’t realize until now. Hope yall enjoyed the vid 🤙🏽🎣

Kaibirrrd, sweet video! Great conservation practice and I appreciate you Malama the Aina 🤙🏽

Mahalos for cleaning up. We found a hypodermic needle in that spot.. kind of nuts considering where it's located.

I can’t catch anything in Kailua except at kbp
I try to go out on my beach for oio but I never get bites I think it’s because I can’t cast far enough 😭
I use 9foot medium rod with 20lb test 3 ounce lead and different size hooks with squid, shrimp, or Aku belly

@Chachoboy keep trying man! You’ll get a big one someday , consistency is key.
