- The history of the founding of the Cowboys is one of the craziest stories I've come across in the NFL. Betrayal, drama, musical arrangement... It really is a fascinating story of how the ownership rights to the Cowboys franchise were traded for a song. Like literally, the rights to a song were purchased and held for ransom until a certain owner agreed to let the cowboys expansion franchise join the NFL!
Crazy story, but I hope you enjoy. It definitely was a strong start to the Cowboys and Commanders rivalry we still have today!

I'm a Mets Fan , Yankees VS red Sox's. Is probably the oldest rivalry of different cities. Same state or same city rivalry is two simple.

My favourite rivalry in all of sports: Toronto Maple Leafs vs Montrèal Canadiens.
and the moral of the story 'Own all the rts to all the songs that fans of your team use/recite/sing out loud at games' OR let the next guy play with u in the same sandbox and ask for something u really want, that u could not get yourself' In the Tradition of Groo the Wanderer, WE celebrate the deals that help some folks get thru to their dream, after all the grief. The cowboys were first called America's team by NFL films. We do have the highest-grossing fan base in the nfl. Packers bears is the oldest/best rivalry in the nfl.

I knew that the reason y Cowboys came about was AFL had the Dallas Texans which became the Chiefs n NFL needed a team in the market but my favorite Rivalary Usually is Packers vs Bears or my personal favorite which in present day aint been that much of a rivalary like it used to be Eagles vs Giants
Yeah those are good rivalries too! Feels like the packers have a lot of rivalries… I guess same for the eagles, and the giants for that matter!!
