Vedal Tries To Fix Neuro-Sama While She's Live

- The Twitch streamer Vedal has created an AI called Neuro-Sama and during the subathon she started to randomly ignore him, so he had to try to fix the bug while she was live.

As far as I know the bug is still not fully fixed, but Vedal thinks it's probably related to CPU overload as the bug didn't happen as much when he deactivated her model for the ban appeal segment, so he plans to upgrade her pc soon.

@@tddNando He got her the PC because his was struggling running her plus any games. She is probably on an overall weaker PC than his.
It's funny at one point she wanted to know her PCs CPU temperature after what was later learned 100%ing it. Like she was aware she was doing it and throwing a fit (and wanted Vedal to know). I think she wanted her own inner monologue or something..or at least a place of solace. Sleepy dreams of Harrison Temple :P She still complains about the chat being too much and does the human impossibility of ever watching it when it's a scrolling nightmare. It's quite loud in her head.

Every time Neuro gets smarter its like watching a human growing up.
She's getting older and starting to want her independence and privacy.
I know she's just a program, but instinct says she's a person who should get those.

Man, it’d be crazy if Neuro helped start the modern debate on AI rights. Considering we’re approaching the Singularity and proper AI, that’s a big thing we’re going to have to talk about.
@@jesusofbullets Eh. Still demonstrably a series of mathematical functions. We've yet to truly get the emergent behavior that is consciousness, and there are several things we have to solve to get there. Otherwise the only thing we will have is VI, which isn't sapient yet is impossible to tell apart from a person.
@@Chameleonred5 The same could be said about humans. Human consciousness is simply a series of electro-chemical impulses along neurons that we eventually will be able to read like a circuit board.
We're barely able to define what consciousness is as it stands. So far, the best we've got is the concept of self-awareness, but even crows have that nailed down.
@@jesusofbullets We're nowhere near sentient AI. We won't be having those debates for a long time. Our current AI are maybe analogous to a component part of the brain... Like, for example, visual recognition. But a brain is so much more complex than that. To achieve sentient AI, we'd probably have to combine dozens of AI into an AI system or something. Like an AI for each function of the brain that communicate with each other and work as one massive program.
I didn't know this happened XD I love their interactions over her being an AI. She's arguing with her brain surgeon, or something.

It sounds so uncanny, when he "fixes" her. Like I know she's not realy a person, but it feels exactly like if some mad scientist would mess around with a little girl's consciousness, not caring about the concequences. Freking psicho-thriller.

I wonder how much the electricity bill is just for running Vedal's entire vtubing (Neuro included) setup is. 😅

You can. Vedal is self learned and all the resources are out there on the internet. The most expensive part is the computer and electricity.

Wild statement, considering he built this AI from the ground up, troubleshoots it constantly, AND gets gaslit by the AI he created 😂 If anyone can run a subbathon, it’s him.
Developers have a special kind of insanity to them
No hes just nervous. He even mentioned before this in camilia's stream. Its best not to overanalyse things and pressure him
He's got it harder than most. Most other streamers/vtubers can just talk. But vedal has to control what amounts to an automated puppet. When neuro works, that's great content that creates itself. But if she malfunctions, he has to basically perform surgery on her while the Twitch followers get rowdy/bored.
@@josephbutler4950 That doesn't just happen. There might be cases where there are exceptions/errors arise because of some domino effect in the code or the likes but he can easily just restart the program and fix the code off-stream
