  • *This video goes over diapers I liked and disliked for my newborn, and some recommendations. My newer video ( • How To Cloth Diaper Yo... ) talks about how to use cloth diapers, and a simplified recommendation.*
    Green Mountain Diapers sells all I would re-purchase. The total I gave included ordering the organic prefolds :)
    Recommendations from video: (can buy prefolds at Green Mountain Diapers only, covers are easy to find wherever)
    12 newborn orange edge GMD organic prefolds
    24 small yellow edge GMD organic prefolds
    1 Flip cover
    1 Thristies duo size 1 cover, or 1 Thirsties extra small cover
    2 Blueberry Capri covers (in smallest size. Tagged "newborn" or "size 1")
    2 Snappis
    Total: $167

    Hi I stopped in to see what all these videos could be about. I'm an old lady whose last full time responsibility contact with diapering was in the 70's. It was still cloth diaper time, and I must say it is all too hard now. Folded gauze diapers about 4 dozen of them, 4 pins, and a pair of plastic pants to cover, along with a box of Baby Fresh Diaper Soak was all we needed to diaper my little sister until she was done. We used a set of dark colored wash cloths to wash up the poopy baby butt and they soaked in their own bucket and still circulate through the house rag bag all these years later. But mostly we wiped up a dirty situation with the clean corner of the diaper before washing off. Seldom any poop on the washcloth. Everything was rinsed in the toilet, and put in the large kitchen garbage can in the basement. It was half full of water and diaper fresh. We washed diapers as needed. One load and dried in the dryer for about 30 to 40 minutes. Fold once and stack in the hall closet. A task that took no consideration. Nothing ever smelled bad from this operation. When disposable diapers came out and I realized that land fills and random trash cans everywhere were full of plastic wrapped poop presents, I was alarmed. It still irks me sometimes. LOL.

      mspatti I'm gonna be a grandma for the first time in less than a month and I resonate with all you're saying. So glad my dd is going to use cloth. I think it's interesting that the prefolds wind up being this girl's favorites after trying all those fancy fitted types. I used prefolds with all 4 of mine (1981-1993) along with Gerber plastic pants and pins. I made wool soakers from shrunken sweaters, too. Had maybe 5 or 6 fitted ones with velcro and loved them, but alas, couldn't afford more, lol. My best tip is if you use pins, store them in a bar of soap. It makes them slick so they go right through the cloth. Sure enjoyed watching this adorable baby and her sweet mama! Can't wait till we have a little one around again!

      +mspatti I hear you! My two were babies in the early 80's. I had about 12 dozen Gerber prefolds and pins and plastic pants. They went through both kids and many years of cleaning afterwards. I'm not sure what all the fuss is about with fitted diapers and diaper covers and prints etc...... They are for poop and pee for goodness sake. They are covered with onsies or clothes anyway.

    I just want to say I love your video. You are so honest and relatable. My daughter is 3 weeks and I had the same assumptions and the same issue with cloth diapers her. I used thx and we have out grown the absorbancy. I am using kawaii green I became your biggest fan when you decided to nurse your baby and continue the video. Some times as mom we just have to do what we have to do. Nursing is so natural and some times we are painted as villians for just doing what we have to do. Ain't no body have time have time to stop their life to feed there kid every 2 to 3 hours😊. Thanks for a great informative review.

I'm not going to make my baby go hungry just bc people are weird about it. The more others do the same the more socially acceptable it will be! :) congrats on your new baby- enjoy this time and your cloth diaper journey!!

    As an older mom who used cloth with all 4 new born to potty chair... there are some tricks my mom shared with me. For girls fold a second pre-fold like you are showing for an insert to a prefitted cover. lay it down on a second open(flat) prefolded diaper. on the middle thicker part. Then then fold on the sides and place the baby on it. Wing out the back sides enough to meet the front for pinning. Fold over the extra in the front to avoid the umbilical stump and pin. Use water proof pullon pants (we called them rubber pants) or a PLU fitted cover. And this should prevent too much leaking.

    this was really helpful! I loved that you started nursing and didn't skip a beat, way to go! I'm building my newborn stash and just scored 24 gmd NB and 24 gmd small prefold seconds and saved a ton of money. I built my whole stash for under $100 getting the seconds and buying used covers. If I have a girl I'm totally going to get those cute "dress" sleepers--how handy!

    Awesome comment on having different kinds of covers so that they don't rub the same place on baby's skin!!! Lots and lots of mums do what you want to do and are happy with it! So don't let the others deter yourself from doing you! (They're often just afraid that their own lifestyle might not be "the one and only" and assume that you're doing wrong. People are difficult. 😒)

    I use the luv my pocket diapers. I love them! They have lots of snaps so they go all the way from newborn to potty trained. You can purchase them on Amazon, they're inexpensive and have great absorbency! My son is 13 months and still uses them from when he was born (he was 6 lbs and is now 18)

    I bought a few different brands of newborn cloth diapers for my second baby and had the same problem with the lil joeys! I also had the same issue with absorbency and we only used the newborn aio's for less than a month. I love my applecheeks size ones (as long as the wings are pulled up they don't leak) and I like the Kawaii newborn as well because they go up to 20 lbs. Great review!

    Something that really helped us when our babies were outgrowing the absorbency and adding an insert/flat would have been too bulky, was adding a folded natural-fiber cloth wipe, sometimes two. That gives you a little more time to use our NB/size small stash. ☺️
    I have 7 babies; a 4yo, a 2yo, 11mo triplets and NB twins. I cloth diaper 6 of those babies 😅 ☺️❤️ Cloth diapers have saved us tons and tons of money 😄 and I am soooo happy we can help the environment even a little ❤️☺️

      +Ellen V.S. what is your favortie flat? what do you think about geffen baby hemp jersey flats? have you used them on a newborn? I have cloth diapered 2 of my 4 children but not from birth. We are expecting baby #5 and I've always loved prefolds and flats but haven't used them on a newborn. Are they bulky? I love geffen baby pfs and flats for my older children but not sure which cover works best over them without being too bulky.

    • @ellenv.s.4913
      @ellenv.s.4913  8 років тому

      +Jessicalball The Geffen Baby would be great on a newborn bc they are quite small, but IMO too expensive to justify the price. I made a few videos on my channel about flats, and most recently flats on a newborn. If you get a size large, they are bulky, but not uncomfortably so, and then you can use their whole diapering life. That's what I mostly used with Fiona once she turned about 3 weeks old. Check that video for how I folded them. A regular size flat is less bulky, but it may or may not get you to potty learning depending on how heavy they wet. You could always double up if needed, or just add a doubler. Sounds like you already have some on hand, so I'd just try to get away with those! In the olden days one size flats were the only option, and millions of babies were successfully cloth diapered that way 😀

    to be fair, 1 1/2-2 hours in a cloth is pretty good. I have cloth diapered 2 kids and I'm about to cloth my 3rd in july.

I just never had leaks in that amount of time with my son (and now daughter now that she's not a newborn) so was just surprised a newborn could leak in something that fast!

    Thanks so much for your channel, Ellen. It's been so helpful watching your videos. I think I'm living the same life with my two kiddos. Didn't CD with no1 'til 3 mos. Started day 1 with no2 and, like you, I didn't like wool for newborns either. The felted soaker made it impossible to pull up on a scrunched-up newborn. I really wanted to like it, but couldn't do wool til babe was like 2 mos. Now I love the Disana soakers with prefolds and flats. Thanks, BTW, for the earlier video on wool, which helped me cave and purchase a couple. Also, a big hug on the sleeping video. I'm in the same boat with my 3-yo son as well. It's exhausting and cruel irony that the baby can sleep better than the toddler most nights.

      I thought I replied to your comment (?!), sorry! Cloth diapering doesn't have to be as complicated as this sounds, I just chose to try all the styles I had liked with my son as an older baby on my daughter as a newborn. If I would have stuck to my original plan of prefolds and covers for her it would have been easier, haha, I just wanted to try it all during the newborn stage. Did you ever give cloth diapering a go?!

    A great stash, I would add in some fitteds, for some 3am changes, also can just sell them when done. The selling part is one of the best parts of CD, you can spend $700, and say sell at half the price when done, and you just diapered your child for $350. Amazing!

    Great video. Have u looked at the different ways to fold those pre folds that you have? I seen a video on here with the ways to fold. Maybe you could look up the jelly roll which would maybe help with the leakage around the legs if the cover is too big. I'm due on the 27th this month I bought different varieties of cloth diapers pre folds and flats with snappies. As well as I plan to breast feed too. Congrats on the little cutie you have.

    This is the best, realest information I've received about cloth diapering. Thank you so much for sharing this! I am about to give birth to my first (due in two weeks) and definitely intend to cloth diaper the whole way through. How is your daughter doing in her one size covers? Would you recommend the same brands? Are you still using prefolds or have you gone to another type? I was gifted a ton of pocket diapers and also have some AIOs that I was going to use for my daughter but now that I've watched this I am thinking of switching to prefolds with covers. Would you say thats the best way to go so I am not changing her diaper (and probably her cloths) every hour or two?

    • @ellenv.s.4913
      @ellenv.s.4913  9 років тому

      Belinda Hommel Thank you so much, I appreciate the compliment :)
      She still fits like a champ in her one size covers at 8 months, and we are still using prefolds and flats, all Cloth-eez brand from Green Mountain Diapers. (I needed to use pockets with her for a couple months when she had a brief sensitivity to wetness against her skin, but that's pretty rare. It was just a little young baby stage she went through.) We tried tons of brands of covers (with both kids), and I've sold everything that didn't work for us. So my favorites are still Flip and Blueberry Capri. I also have a Thirsties Size 2 Duo wrap for her that I like, but since it doesn't have the inner flaps it isn't as good for laying diapers inside, so I only use that if I Snappi the diaper on.
      Some people just love pockets and AIOs, and would only recommend those, but for me personally I find flats/prefolds with covers to be bulletproof, affordable, easy to clean, and easy to put away after doing laundry. It's totally a personal preference, but for me I think it's the best system :) (We also have a handful of Lalabye Baby AI2/pockets that my husband loves because the snaps are color coded for an easy fit. I love them too. So it doesn't have to be all or nothing with your stash, you can use different systems too if you want.)

    So my entire stash is alva or MK. They are all too big for my two month old. We were given newborn diapers and they fit. But she pees through them within 45 min to 1 hr. She was 8.2 pounds at 2 weeks. Obviously bigger now at 2 months. So we are now using size 1 disposables until she can fit into all her mama koala diapers

    Thanks for the great info!
    Perhaps the good old 100% cotton pre-folds with diaper pins & vinyl/plastic pants, then the cute covers over those are still the way to go?
    I would have thought the snap-ons would've been a great idea. I'm not so impressed now. The inserts seem to help some people, but not others with leaking. The covers & perhaps weave or thickness of the diapers seem to be the issue.
    Those snap-on covers can be outrageously expensive!

    • @smoresyg5772
      @smoresyg5772 8 років тому

      +Carol Reid prefolds with pins (good new diapering pins! So cute) and plastic covers is exactly what I'm doing right now. Prefolds cost me $12 5 years ago (Just got one package. Still using them.) and I just got a new 3-pack of plastic covers for $10. Pins were $2. So... Diapering for $25?? Heck yes!! :D lol

    • @CarolReidCA
      @CarolReidCA 8 років тому

      Smoresy G Yeah & washing, but that's pretty minimal. A LOT less than the $400-500/year (or more?) & less rash too! just use those mattress pads (the flannel over vinyl & there are others with laminated materials now too that breathe & diaper covers too that are really inexpensive when bought from the factories - see the Mama app & don't get the thin just cotton white pads alone. you can use with the thicker gray ones that are super absorbent, from the same app), anyhow, if you just pin on a pre-fold or two without the pants & use the mattress pads, it's great for airing out when the little ones are taking a nap to get rid of rashes from food sensitivities, acidity, etc. or just a hot summer day with a onesie over them when they have already done their business, then change them just before they are due to go again. Also great time to work on potty training!
      Anyhow, It's been a LONG day, so I'm rambling... Anyhow, I hope this makes sense...
      They work VERY well though & as long as you wash them properly, they are healthier IMHO too AND the money saved can buy your baby at least a beater car, or something nice when they get older, or something nice!

    • @CarolReidCA
      @CarolReidCA 8 років тому +1

      So true. I've heard one brand (or perhaps knock-offs) have to pull tight & can cause tummy trouble, so you might want to look at the ones that are on the market to be sure they fit your baby well, without being tight.

  • @briand.beverlyii4868
    @briand.beverlyii4868 7 років тому

    Be careful, as Best Bottom, only fits so long because of the way they snap. Also. try some of your covers with a gdiaper insert. I hated the covers, they leaked, even when positioned correctly. But, they are hemp and the more you wash them, the more absorbent they get. They also have a microfiber layer that keeps the bum dry and are small, so they fit in the smaller of covers. But the problem with most newborn diapers is that they outgrow/don't have enough absorbency for long. I made most of the ones that we used and they got us through that first four weeks or so, also the prowraps? were good when small. I would second having about 12 diapers in your newborn stash. It is enough that you still need to wash about everyday, but you have enough 2-4 left over to use overnight while your diapers dry on the wrack overnight. Also, if you are having problems with leaking make sure to use the right detergent. I make my own, but Rockin' Green, while expensive was the best "commercial" detergent. I also keep a spare prefold on the changing table when changing little bums as they tend to tinkle every time they are changed. Just my 2 cents. Oh, by the way CDing #3. Oh, and you can't beat bumgenius on the bigger babies. I prefer them over flip because elastic can be replaced, and they are easier for babysitters/dads/gmas etc.

    • @ellenv.s.4913
      @ellenv.s.4913  8 років тому +1

      Yes, this recommendation was 4 covers. At that time I was washing everyday bc I had two in cloth. I'd probably have washed everyday either way bc all that poop is just sitting in the diapers. If you wanted to wash every other day, you might be more comfortable with 6 covers, but 4 would get you by. They grow out of them SO fast, so if you already have some one size covers on hand, you could just rely on those if your other ones get dirty too quickly. Using a snappi will keep most of the poop off the covers though, so it shouldn't be a problem with 4!
      And Thank you!

    Mildew and mold lol. Also, if your baby is a big wetter, most people will add an additional insert. They don't make them super thick because the dry time and mold would grow crazy in it, that's why people add them.

    I could really relate to your video! I just had my second child and he was bigger and has gained weight faster than my first. It was really interesting to see all the different types that you have tried. I invested completely in Kawaii newborn diapers (I borrowed the same type from a friend with my first), and they are great because they actually say that they go from 6-22 lbs which is really good. I did switch to OS with my son at 6 months, maybe for more absorbency, but they probably could have fit him longer. On my newborn they have never leaked pee, and I put 1 of the 2 inserts for day use and 2 for night (he's doing a six to 8 hour stretch at night). However, his little legs are skinny even though he us up to 11 lbs now at 6 weeks, and the legs are still not quite tight enough and his runny poo gets out. They gaped about a 1/4 inch at first. So we jumped into EC and he is going poo on the potty which is great. Cloth diapering is such an adventure! I first found your wool video and am getting started with wool for both my boys at night. :) Oh, and I bought a Harper too! My first ever bumgenius! I bought the environmental though, not a cover. It fits my 22 month old, but after watching your video, I realized that it would probably fit my newborn too!

If budget is a concern, you can get by with 6 by doing daily laundry and Handwashing covers if needed. Or you could get a few more to be more comfortable, just depends on what you are comfortable with!

      Congrats!!! :) So exciting! Are you going to find out the gender? I checked out the wipes, sounds cool. I like that it's just water and EO :) What types of diapers do you have available in Australia?

      No, I'm looking forward to the surprise, and I like neutral colours anyway. Yeah I never even considered using reusable wipes, I thought it would be too hard, but another mum suggested these and it's such a well thought out system, I actually think it will be easy!
      At first I was looking at the all-in-ones and all-in-twos but you need so many and they take so long to dry, and they cost more and can't be used for other things! My husband said why can't we just use the basic terry towel system like our parents did, and I thought about it and was like 'genius!' So simple, especially for newborn, as you don't know what size they'll be, and as I haven't done it before, I don't need nearly as many covers (I've been looking on what seems to be a good Aust site for MCNs darlingsdownunder.com.au, and I'll prob end up getting a mix of about 6-8 - flip, thirsties, bumboo & rumparooz, and i'd love to get some wool covers if i can find them), terry towels/prefolds/trifolds are so reusable for other things - wish I could get GMD, but I've found bubblebubs prefolds unbleached cotton & bumboo bamboo prefolds so far, plus I've been given a heap of terry towel squares- I think I'll just pick up a packet here and there and see what ends up working. We have a baby expo in a few weeks, I've been told there may be some cloth bargains so I'm waiting until then to buy anything else, but so excited! I was 8pounds4 I think, at birth, and often that's an indicator, but I know your 2 are very different sizes, so you just never know! I may end up getting some boingos too, pretty sure they ship here, I don't like snappis either, they seem too much like they're going to snap!
      Also, I've found this great site you may be interested in hellocharlie.com.au, she'd made up heaps of 'cheatsheets' for things like wipes and nappy balm and eco disposables, there is prob a lot of brand crossover as some would be from the US, she's looked at the ingredients in them and ranked them, and I found the wipes one very surprising! A lot of eco ones were not as good as I'd thought.

      darlingsdownunder.com.au seems to have a good variety, i think i'll get a mix of these - flip, thirsties, bumboo & rumparooz, but i'll see what's at the expo. there are soo many brands around, i know i could try some etsy or home-sewn type ones but i think i'll stick to the more popular/tested brands for now..
      I dunno, it seems all the mums in my 'due in august' facebook group are finding out! i kind of like not knowing, until baby is in front of us, plus they can get it wrong which would be disconcerting..

    Thank you so much for doing this video! I started CDing my son when he was 18 months, now that I'm having a girl in a few months Ive been thinking about buying NB but not sure we can really afford it, defiantly can't afford diapers that won't work.

    Moldew and mild.lol. That's awesome. It's good to know I'm not the only one that does that.lol. Good video but I have to say that overloading your washer is not recommended. You can't really chalk that up as a bad quality of a diaper.lol. This is a great video to demonstrate how it's kinda risky to spend a lot of money on a newborn stash. You did the cloth diaper world a good service here. :)
    I totally agree with your recommendation of Green Mountain Diapers, they're awesome. I also love Flips and the size 1 thirsties, but not so much on the size 2. And OH MY GOODNESS, you adorable baby makes my ovaries ache. I LOVED the little nursing song she was humming. SO cute. :)

      Jay Kay Lol, moldew and mild, I know~ I don't edit my videos, makes it feel like work and not a hobby ;) And yeah, overloading the washer is a big no-no, I had two in cloth at the time and it took a couple loads to figure out how much was too much ;)
      I also never was a fan of size 2 Thirsties. Mine lives at Grandma's now as a back-up. And I haven't noticed the nursing song, lol, I'll have to go check on that. My little sweetie :) Thanks!

    Hi Ellen,
    I'm trying to build my stash for my daughter. I really want to do a cover/prefold system. Would 4 covers really be enough? Lol, I actually have written down about 6 covers-NB/Size 1(all blueberry Capri) and then 6 covers-Size 2(4 BBCapri and 2 Thirsties Duo Wrap). Now on top of that- 1 BB Coverall OS and 1-Flip OS to try out. Please lmk what you think. I'm really just unsure about how many smaller diapers I'd need. I know all babies are different and grow at different rates, but idk. First baby here. ;)
    Thank you!! :-)

      Oh, and also added to the confusion of how many covers to get-was that some mammas get so many for just the smaller size alone. I don't have too much money to go too crazy, but want to make sure I have enough.
      Again, thank you!

    Hey, I just had an idea, did you ever try adding a hemp insert to your newborn diapers? I heard a while ago that Geffen Baby has a newborn insert for heavy wetters. I think you can add it to your newborn diapers kind of like a booster. I never got to try it because I only heard of them after my last baby was born and she wasn't a real heavy wetter anyway. I'd be curious to know if they would have helped. I so wish I could cloth diaper another newborn, especially after seeing your scrumptious little sweetie. :)

      Jay Kay Cute :) I don't believe I tried a hemp insert during the newborn phase. I have some that I've used for both kids in the one-size stage, and they are great! :) Thanks for the tip though for others who read the comments!

      Ellen V.S. Have you tried that cheapie brand of covers called "Qianqunui", or is there something you showed here that compares? A friend gave me like 100 of em (with tons of BumGenuis inserts, short and long) and they're adjustable to different sizes; but it's hard to find any reviews on them... sounds like you've tried everything! ( I'm due in Feb with our first so I'm trying to learn from as many moms like you beforehand!🙏🏼😅)

    • @ellenv.s.4913
      @ellenv.s.4913  7 років тому

      Turtle McNeill I've never heard of them! Just make sure you don't use the bumgenius inserts against baby's skin if they are microfiber. Cotton, hemp, and bamboo can touch skin, not microfiber. I'd say give them a whirl since they are free, and invest in something else if they don't work! You could always pick up a few flats to try with them as well😊 They make great burp rags and changing mats too, so they are nice to have around!

    i comment on all your videos lol but i was wondering.. would you suggest flats or gmd prefolds for newborns? I'm glad to hear flips fit at a few weeks old. i have dozens of them

    • @ItsmeBish584
      @ItsmeBish584 8 років тому

      oh also..I've heard the cloth-eez workhorse were useless with newbs. do you have experience with those? did you have to use or buy doublers with your prefolds? i was looking at half size flats on gmd. i was thinking about purchasing those because I'm nervous that full size flats will be just way too bulky. i have small babies. but i also don't want to waste money on something that will fit for only 2 weeks. this stuff is hard! lol. i cloth diapered my children around 2-3 months but never newborn.

    • @ellenv.s.4913
      @ellenv.s.4913  8 років тому

      Hi Jessica, yes I saw you around this am 😀 prefolds are a little easier because there is less folding involved. Flats are nice too though because they fit forever vs newborn prefolds fit for two seconds. (I made a video recently about size large flats with newborns.) I liked having a mix bc then I had less folding, but also could use flat diapers I already had on hand from my son. And we are still using them now 👍

    • @ellenv.s.4913
      @ellenv.s.4913  8 років тому

      +Jessicalball I used to have a ton of fitteds, GMD workhorse included. I always loved fitteds on my (first) toddler. But fitteds with a newborn seemed pointless to me. It was extra work to snap them on then snap a cover over, all for them to poop two seconds later. Each change ends up being a lot more expensive vs flats and prefolds as well. I didn't use doublers with the prefolds, I just went up a size when the absorbency wasn't cutting it. But the size large GMD flats were great absorbency. Do you have any flats now? If you get the half size, they probably won't be enough absorbency later on, but you could use them as doublers. Since you already have flips, I'd just get a really small amount of things to get you through those first few weeks. Like 2 extra small thirsties covers and a 12 pack of flats or GMD newborn prefolds and wash everyday. If you supplemented with like one pack of organic disposables I bet that would get you until you can use your flips and current inserts.

      @ItsmeBish584 8 років тому

      +Ellen V.S. yes i have flats now. i have mostly geffen hemp jersey flats and diaper rite bamboo. I'm just worried about the bulk of full size flats because my babies tend to be 6-7 lbs. i just ordered some xs thirsties covers too. i was going to order bummis super brite because i heard they were super duper tiny. but I've read a lot of mixed reviews regarding bummis. these choices are tough lol. i dont want to spend to much on thing i won't need for long.

    • @ItsmeBish584

      +Ellen V.S. if i get all these teeny tiny covers I'm concerned full size flats won't fit under them ykwim? i love blueberry capris but I've googled pics and even the size 1s look so huge on newborns.

  • @AngelaDeWispelaere88
    @AngelaDeWispelaere88 9 років тому

    For the diapers, I can't tell if you recommend Cloth-eez® Workhorse™ White Fitted Diapers or the prefolds. Would you get the fitted for both newborn and size small? And can you use the fitted as prefolds later?

    • @ellenv.s.4913
      @ellenv.s.4913  9 років тому +1

      I recommend cloth-eez organic prefolds, 12 of the orange edge newborn, and 24 yellow edge small. I wouldn't even bother with fitteds because they cost more, you don't have a lot of flexibility with sizing, and they can't be used as anything other than a fitted diaper (so no, can't use as a prefold later). Prefolds can become burp rags, changing mats, cleaning rags- you name it!

    I'm considering cloth diapers with my little girl! I'm due December 22 2015 and I hated disposable diapers with my son! How does the cleaning and stuff go? Also how do you handle the poopy ones?

      +Ellen V.S. Please do! I'm currently still in the liquid poo stage with this little guy and I've washed them just fine, as far as washing goes and I know to flush it when it gets solid enough to do so, but, what about stains? Yellow diapers work just as well as white ones, but it would be nice to have the stains out if possible. I hand-wash, so I'm not really a fan of trying bleach (dry skin), though I suppose I will at some point if it's the only option.

    • @ellenv.s.4913
      @ellenv.s.4913  8 років тому

      +Smoresy G Laying wet (clean) diapers in the sun is a great way to naturally bleach the stains out! Depending on where you live, you may have to wait a bit for the sun 😉

    • @MrsGetOverYourself

      Ellen V.S. You're so right! I wash pillows and do the bi-annual mattress cleaning this way (using sun) with a spray bottle full of :1 part vinegar, 3 parts warm water, fresh lemon juice from 1 lemon, add sun = Natures bleach! I'm totally sanitizing cloth diapers this way when the time comes too now that I've seen these comments! 🙏🏼👍🏼
