You were my favorite singer when I was 15-16 and your songs/music videos were my crutch during a really bad time and a really bad relationship. I suffered from constant anxiety and depression. I’d fall asleep to your music for some peace. Through time I had listened to you less and less from distraction and change in taste (your old songs will never stop being my favorite though), but I came across this video and I fell in love again. Your voice, lyrics. Amazing. Miss you. (reference but also truly). I’m now 18 and doing so much better. But you truly are one to thank for getting me through such a dark time in my life. Thank you. I hope you see this. If you do, I want you to know that your song Ghosts was the one I’d fall asleep to on nights that the pain hit just a bit harder. Thank you Gabrielle. 💜

I'm always amazed at how easily your face can change from one style to another, Gab. How the hell do you do it is beyond me.
Better than the original. Your voice shines through
That's the thing with Gabby's pop releases, compared to many other modern pop songs. At their core there is a bare bones acoustic version that created the pop version. You know that's how she started created the song.
Many modern pop songs were manufactured just to be the end result. They have no core and therefore no soul.
