Agreed. I never would have thought Aqua would have been consumed by the very thing she has fought for so long. It makes me happy for 0.2's existence, but this is about the saddest thing that can happen to someone, worse than having to return to your former self.
When Yen Sid reminded us of how Xehanort mercilessly struck Eraqus down, I felt that this theme, while is Aqua's, couldn't fit better anywhere else. Feels sad, tragic and disconsolate. Leaves you quite hollow inside.
I feel her pain on this, everyone abandoned me in my life also, i tried so hard to stay sober, I fought, yet everyone turned their back. They told me they were there, they lived me, they use me, them after their behavior isolated me due to narc abuse, when I needed someone they abandoned me, left me alone to deal with it. Then came back to say they were there to help me only because they wanted to further use me. This theme cuts deep, I never knew how it changes you, you willingly give into evil, into hatred, hopelessness, and no longer care. Just like aqui i understand her words "all that's left in my heart is misery and despair and now they can share in it." 🖤
Damn, I can relate to you as well the same thing happened to me. You can do everything to try to be someone else pillar of hope even when you're hurting the most. But when you need them in the end they disappear when you needed them the most. It hurts I stay away from everyone now I have trust issues and I deal with my mind and loneliness on my own every day so yes despair is the feeling I feel right now till this day we were nothing more than an option we weren't important like we thought we were. boy reality is something when you realize that your mind played a trick on you. Then in the end they forget all about you.
Many weeks back, I played this track when I was thinking of my uncle who was in the hospital with Covid-19. And I remember I cried really hard. A few days ago, he passed away. So now this song holds more meaning to me. Thanks for uploading this. 😊

I know the pain that Aqua feels. Trying to be the savior while watching everything crumble at your fingertips. You desperately want to help you friends but worry all the while if everything will work out fine in the end. I'm glad Aqua's story turned out for the better. She deserved a happy ending. Mines wasn't such a happy one. Although I'm no longer walking through darkness, I am still alone. And I know it sounds sad, but to be honest I'm contempt in away. No more trying to play hero for those who wouldn't help me. No more one sided friendships. No more hurt.
You find the strength to stand alone, but become stronger with those who care for you. You'd rather be friends with those you trust over who would use you. I completely understand where you're coming from.
Kingdom Hearts is a game that even if you don't understand the story well, it doesn't matter. I would say that Kingdom Hearts is not about a lot of understanding, but rather about the emotion and feeling you experience in the game's scenes and soundtrack, it's an inexplicable feeling.
The moment the darkness hits her spreads from her heart is so painful to watch. It felt like she would've held on until they arrived had she not been literally forced to submit by being INJECTED with the thing.

When riku and Mickey come to the mysterious tower and talk about aqua and the realm of darkness. This is before sora gets his new clothes/when he gets them
