Rochester has one of the largest contingents of deaf schooling in the country. It’s home to not only Rochester school for the deaf (PreK-12th) but also the National Technical Institute for the Deaf which is on the RIT campus. They are very accommodating and it’s a great thing to see all around.
Always appreciate CCDG for their amazing production value. The cinematic vibe adds such depth to the sport and culture of disc golf. Especially for the viewers online. Thank you for all the work that goes into providing us beautiful coverage.
Saw the same thing and I see a foot fault by a mile. This is why whole cards get punished for slow play....because the players aren't calling faults when they happen. It's not even a place where "I'm watching from home and have plenty of time to see it". I knew he was pinched against the tree and it was a difficult shot to pull off and he just disregards the rules.
I normally thinks foot faults are punished way to hard because most of the times its unintentional and gives zero advantage. I think that is why alot of players dont call foot faults. I think they should review this rule. Punish those who gain advantages, but maybe do a warning for those just stepping wrong with no advantage. This right here was a really bad footfault and its almost certain he gained a stroke on throwing it incorrectly. He should definatly been penalised.
Hats off to the tournament director Tony and all the staff putting together such a great tournament!! Keeping it going year after year!! It was my first tournament in 2013 (RFDO) where I also got my first Ace incredible experience to say the least!! Here's to 50 more!! 🎉🎉
Agree! Quite egregious too and both benefited his throw immensely as opposed to foot-faults that have no real effect on the outcome. (And since I see you "edited" you probably commented after the first one and then added the second one. More coming?)
Methinks Ezra will be razzed by Alden and co on one of their next videos for that shot at ua-cam.com/video/u8FeDwtxKQI/v-deo.html but hey, we're all human and have done it. Kudos to him to laugh it off a lil and not get super upset! :)
CC is an automated experience, and it often isn't time synced or fully correct. It's also a language in its own right. Consumers are everywhere. I'm sure the entire team was out there trying to support the experience both for video and the on- course experience.
@@chrismbull sign language isn’t a universal language. That’s American Sign Language. Also, I watch with CC, and because I know the sport and lingo, I can tell when things are wrong. They’re deaf, not stupid.🤙🏿
@DiscGolfDemastus not calling names. I'm just saying that it's is own language, different syntax than English, and it seems the intent is to pay respect to those who may wish to have that support. Appreciate the discussion my dude 🤙
There was also DGN filming who bounces around like a spaz betweeen cards, so it's helpful for that. Also, spectators were having plenty of opportunity to view it.
Attention CCDG and all disc golfers: I've invented a device, the disc whip, for flinging golf discs and flying rings farther than we can throw them. I made a 70 min video about it, giving it an epic, humorous, fictitious back story plot which continues throughout the entire video. If you're interested, the video is in 6 parts on UA-cam, starting with, "Disc Whip Invented By Paul Marostica Part 1". Don't worry that it starts in the dark. That's only for the 1st few minutes of Part 1.
Too long. How about a 2 min video that wasn't filmed in the middle of the night and in your basement? Not trying to be mean, it's an interesting idea, but the video doesn't show it.
@@mik31337 How much out of the 6 videos did you actually watch? You mentioned only 2 things from the very beginning of Part 1. Some of Part 1 is made on 2 different holes on a disc golf course. I viewed your disc golf video. It's in a back yard, it has only 1 camera position, and it repeats the same thing over and over.

22:28 Pro Tip:
If you don’t have the power to do a standstill, while against a tree, just foot fault 2 feet right of your disc, to miss the tree.

Randon is a natural, good stuff guys
That actually wasn’t Ezra throwing directly into a tree, that was footage of me out on my local course. Thanks for covering this tournament!
Great card and great coverage, thank you!!
This looks like such a well run tournament. Can we get it as an elite stop? I’d love to see the Ricky vs Vinny battle that would happen here.
Rochester brings it

I can't find the FPO post produced. It says that central Coast handles it. Where is it.
Hole 7 is super cool
22:28 foot fault? Also at 26:13. Yikes

they are both obvious and both were used to eliminate obstacles. pretty crazy that neither were called lol
@@veryuglymannot only wasn’t it not called, he got a fist bump! Lol
Was gonna comment this myself. It should be called out when its this egregious and greatly benefits the player

Sign lady should face the crowd, not the camera. We have CC.

Matty O must not be too far from Masters Eligible...yes?
I think he's like 34 or 35 or something. Super low PDGA number cuz he joined as a kid.

clapping really necessary after every throw?
Yes.
