I added one extra day each week of walking to rest or avoid bad weather. I was super happy that I did that! Add a few days "just in case".
I'd take a rain-day and then walk the scenic route.
I just did the Hospitales Route in June in the fog and I would do it again. It was magical and mystical and so worth it!

Thank you for your videos. I attempted to walk the Del Salvador and Primitivo routes in May but had to leave after one day walking because my husband at home needed surgery. I hope to try again in August! It has been fun to follow you:)

Don’t take the hospitales route unless the weather is favorable
Hola, desde Argentina!!! Recomendación por Pola de Allande, el verde es más atractivo que la meseta semidesierta, cuidado con los osos, lobos y jabalíes, no vi ninguno, lástima. Otra recomendación, al llegar al Puerto de Palo no ir a Montefurado, el camino es muy accidentado y empinado en bajada, hacer un par de kilómetros por carretera y frente a un refugio retomar el sendero por la izquierda. Buen camino
