The paint on the Twizy looks absolutely spectacular. The whole car is just so cool and the Oakley input is the icing on the cake. It would turn more heads than some of the super cars.
I say go for it! That Twizy looks sick! I wish the front splitter was maybe half the size though, it's too ridiculously massive. It looks like a snow plow.
Get yourself a 718 Cayman, it would look great next to the Macan, it's fast, it handles almost as well as the Lotus and yet it's really really comfortable. And in person it sounds good too, I've driven it and it was awesome. And of course put that bodykit on the Twizy!
Or maybe a used 6-cylinder Boxster/Cayman, sounds much better than the new one and it's also within the price range. Exige is a fun car too but as you found out storage space is very limited and its uncomfortable for long trips. Cayman is pretty much the same car albeit can be used for 1000 mile trips with no issues, and it won so many awards for being an amazing driver's car.
Would only do it if you installed a new motor controller, so that it is actually fast. also probably a good idea to get one later when you have the funds kicking around.

If nothing else it looks like it should handle well. Be nice to extend those wheels out slightly further with wheel spacers and put a modest bike engine. It doesn't need to be a hayabusa. Hell even a properly sorted 250 CC dohc turbo v twin might suffice. Certainly not more than 600 CC naturally aspirated.
when I heard how much custom rims cost for a car that can go 270+ it blew my mind , one set from a guy in NY paid 60 grand not including the tires ... you could buy a used M4 with that kind of money
don't understand this whole Vlog obsession sweeping youtube. the reason people are clicking the video to watch it is because of the title, and thumbnail. which is about a specific car that people want to see. they want to see the subject of the video as described in the title,thumbnail and description. what most people do not want to see, is the ten minutes of someone recording their face as they drive a vehicle, describing the events of their whole day (sometimes including life story) in detail. Came for the car, not to hear how your day/week went.
honestly, i think it kind of looks like a riding lawnmower fucked a golf kart. and the wings probably just slow it down. i doubt they added any more power to it. at least they didn't mention if they did... so what you really have is a 50mph car that now has potentially more down force and wheel surface slowing it down to 40.

There is an big untapped niche market in the U.S for the Twizy if only either the light or heavy version could be approved for sale here. THIS is the logical vehicle for battery power. I'd much prefer the four-wheeler Twizy over the 3-wheel Arcimoto, but will settle for the Arcimoto if I don't have access to the Twizy.
The twisy is just daft but fun I suppose, however the bugatti is a lesson in wealth over class. Reminds me of them housewives programs, where the house is just filled with the most expensive of everything and looks 'cheap and gordy' as shit. Jist because you can, doesn't mean you should!
