This was a very helpful tutorial. Thank you! I ran into some issues partly due to not being as skilled at using a solder gun as I thought. I was able to solder the batteries though with only small damage to one of the batteries (some of the plastic at the top the battery melted). It works and charges now! I hope the damaged part will not cause any interruptions in the future. I love the groomer and I'd hate to throw it away in perfect condition just because the batteries died.
BRAVO Anton, you just save me (and many other here) from to spend 50 euro to take a new one. Your video is the ONLY ONE in you tube, so good and explained filmed. Thank you for your help ! You are the best!
This tip will save you the trouble of dissasembling and save you some moolah! If you simply just charge the groomer for just 5-10 minutes only this normaly resets the faulty batteries so you can use it for at least 15 minutes but try not to turn it off inbetween....otherwise it will red light and power down. However sometimes you might find that it can be turned off and on at least 3 or 4 times! Either way as long as you only charge the groomer for 5-10 minutes each time you want to use it you should be good to go.
Thats exactly what I was searching for on UA-cam, my Bodygroom BG2026 battery is pretty much dead and I want to replace it. Thank you so much! Everyday hero!

After soldering the new batteries, the bodygroom did not work. Only the LED startet blinking after pressing ON Button. There is a simple trick: the bodygroom stores the batterie emty state and inhibits switching on the machine again. 20 seconds in the charging unit and the state "batterie empty" is erased and the bodygroom works again.
Thanks for a nice video. Philips batteries were complete crap. Changed the batteries to Eneloop AAA. Working fine now. I hope the batteries did not lose capacity because of the heat during soldering.

Muito boa a dica amigo, vi que a pilha tem a 950mAH, quanto tempo de autonomia você obteve com estas pilhas?
Спасибо большое. По этому видео подобрал батарейку и произвел замену. Не поломал ни одного крепежа!!!!
