Harry is one of my favorite characters in the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo. Him and Evelyn’s friendship is so pure. This book made me cry so much, it’s definitely one of the best books I’ve read in a long time.

YES IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE!! Daisy Jones is one of my favorite books! You should check out the audiobooks if you ever re read them because they are so good!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the books. Two friends recommended both books to me and I enjoyed them completely. Taylor Jenkins Reid is a great writer, she really knows how to make entertaining and relatable characters, a world that seems similar to ours, and things that we wish was real like the movies Evelyn does and the songs from Daisy Jones and The Six. Like you, I loved Harry Cameron and Evelyn and also agree that Celia can be so mean- such as not understanding about bisexuality and failing to understand everything Evelyn did was all for her until it was too late- and yet there is something about her that makes Evelyn love her. I wish I had Harry as a friend, I love him so much. I love how you describe the Six, thank you for your review of Eddie, I always disliked him because at the end, he claims that he ended up on top even though all he did was complain especially about Billy and be so judgemental to everyone. But everyone else is so cool. I think Simone and Daisy are an amazing friendship because Simone is always there for her no matter what. As for the relationships of Billy with Daisy and Camila, Billy and Daisy could be soulmates but Daisy is way too crazy for him while Camila is perhaps the one for him at least for the marriage life. I heard that Evelyn was based on many female actresses; Rita Hayworth for hiding her Latinx heritage, Elizabeth Taylor for the marriages, Ava Gardner for the spilling out the truth before her death, and Katharine Hepburn for the 1982 Oscar win. And Daisy Jones and The Six is apparently based on Fleetwood Mac. But I do wish all the songs and movies were real, I would watch Evelyn and Celia's movies and also listen to Aurora. I loved your review and I hope you do more reviews and do one on Malibu Rising, Mick Riva's family is in there and I'm sure you will enjoy it. Thank you for the review!
I agree with everything you said. Just finished Daisy Jones and the Six yesterday. But honestly I feel like Eddie's outbursts were reasonable. Sure he was cocky and annoying at times, but Billy was honestly a control freak. He treated the band like a dictatorship instead of a republic. So in Eddie's POV I could see why he was mad.
@@squidwardtentacles7144 I also agree Billy was a control freak, it was so obvious that I did wanna tell him to stop and let the others have their own say at least more than a few times. But Eddie still was such a complainer even when things were going good.
I'm a huge Fleetwood Mac fan so I will forever be partial to daisy jones & the six over tjr's other books but malibu rising is so good and I'm just about to start Evelyn Hugo:)
I love them both but man Daisy Jones blew me away. Like you it was just like listening (I have the audiobook with Jennifer Beals as Daisy) to a documentary. I have been waiting so long for the tv series to come out and today we finally got a date: 3/3/22. I am so happy.

I just finished reading Daisy Jones & The Six, and its occurred to me that when Karen was telling her opinion on soul mates, thats exactly what Daisy and Billy were. The whole part about, " I think people who are the too similar... They dont mix well.
But if i did believe in them, id believe your soul mate was somebody who had all the things that you didnt, that needed all the things you had. Not somebody who was struggling from the same stuff you are."
And then Billy says, "Everything that made Daisy burn, made me burn. Everything I loved about the world, Daisy loved about the world. Everything I struggled with, Daisy struggled with. We were two halves. We were the same."
I dont know if I'm being dramatic but those two phrases are just crazy to me. Although they had passion and magnetic attraction, (it obviously would've never worked because of the circumstances), but also because they were too similar. She would have been the end of him.
You're not being dramatic. Those two phrases are the summary of this book for me❤️
it’s also why Billy and Camilla work so much better together because she has the stability that he needs and they don’t have the same issues

I needed this video so much because as you perfectly summed up, Taylor Jenkins Reid‘s books left me so achey and hollow. I think about them all of the time and I feel like they cut me so deep. And nobody in my life has read them so I have all of those emotions inside of me and can’t talk about them.
Oh my good!! What is better than a one hour Steph video?? Please, I need this to never end
i just wanted to recommend 'these violent delights' by chloe gong to you
she's a huge taylor fan and you can basically listen to her whole discography while reading the book
oh and it's a romeo and juliet retelling
ITS SO GOOD
I literally can't wait for the Daisy Jones movie, I think they were spot on with the casting 😍 like Sam Claflin as billy?? Perfect🤤
Harry is literally my favorite character, I cried in the middle of a crowded park because of him.
Harry is the love of my life 😭
Edit: YOU MUST READ MALIBU RISING - I loved that book
I'm listening to 'Daisy Jones and the six' audiobook. I started it yesterday and so far it's amazing.
I'm already planning on picking the third book - The Malibu rising.
Loved the vlog, Steph✨😌
Heyy where do you find the audiobook of daisy Jones and the six
Edit: Anyone who wanna know the zero Avenue is the site where u can get audiobooks
I came to know about it so I thought I can tell you guys too
I read the ending of The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo on the plane and was literally trying so hard not to cry. But I ended up bawling my eyes out anyways. The flight attendant went up to me and asked me if I was okay hahah it was so embarrassing but definitely worth it.
I’ve read these books and I feel exactly the same way. They are special books. Especially Daisy Jones.
YES IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE!! Daisy Jones is one of my favorite books! You should check out the audiobooks if you ever re read them because they are so good!
where can i get the audiobook for free
hey same question, where can i get the audiobook?
the fact that this is freaking an hour long makes me heart soooo happy, i can't even express it through my words...love youuu the most, steph ❤️❤️
Seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo made me cry so much 😭💔 we all need a person like Harry in our lives fr :(
I'm so glad you enjoyed the books.
The seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo is perfect, I cryed so much when I was reading, now with your video I want to read Daisy Jones & The Six too
you have convinced me to read Daisy Jones and the Six
“They’re in the same universe??!” - girl, wait for Malibu Rising hahaha
I'm a huge Fleetwood Mac fan so I will forever be partial to daisy jones & the six over tjr's other books but malibu rising is so good and I'm just about to start Evelyn Hugo:)
I love them both but man Daisy Jones blew me away. Like you it was just like listening (I have the audiobook with Jennifer Beals as Daisy) to a documentary. I have been waiting so long for the tv series to come out and today we finally got a date: 3/3/22. I am so happy.
Harry Cameron is my baby!!!!!!!!!!! I loved him so much. Every time I saw his name I just started crying

Daisy Jones is loosely based on Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham and Fleetwood Mac. Per Taylor Jenkins Read

This is one of my favourite videos of yours.. watched this and because of you I read them both and are now my favourites but re watching this video I’m only 3 mins in and you bring back all of my feelings I WANT TO RE READ
This is THE PERFECT timing cause I just started the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo yesterday
I think harry is my fav character of the seven husbands of evelyn hugo like his personality and everything he did along with his friendship with evelyn just made me smile I got so attached to him I literally couldn't stop crying later on
IVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR THIS SO EXCITED THIS BOOK IS SOOO GOOD!
It will always bother me that I can't read The Daisy Jones and the six for the first time ever again. That book is just some kind of magic. And can't wait for the tv show so I can finally hear the songs.
Nothing ever hit me harder than when Evelyn tells Celia “we didn’t have enough time”. That coupled with Celia telling Evelyn earlier in the book that she hated how much time they wasted being angry at each other. I’m not a crier but this book had me in tears.
