Your house reminds me of what ours was like. We always encouraged our kids to bring their friends around & do sleep overs. That way we always knew they were safe. Ok it meant a bit of noise and empty cupboards but they were all safe and not roaming the roads. You're super parents 💖

Good recipe for cabbage. Spray oil into pan. 2 sprays. Add chopped ginger and garlic and cabbage stir fry for no more than 30 seconds to a minute. Add a very tiny few drops of soy sauce. Serve.

Shredded cabbage is great in a salad. Also, a bowl of japanese fluffy rice with slices of roasted chicken breast, shredded cabbage on top, and some mayonnaise on the top. absolutely yum!

I loved it when I had to step over and tip toe around pre-teen and teen people sleeping on the floor when my girls and their friends were younger...I knew they were all safe. One of those young ladies is now a solicitor in Brighton 🤣🤣 and my daughter is a Mountie 😂..oh, the stories I could tell...but I dare not...😉...I love them all to bits...always will...you are good parents because the girls feel safe...feeling safe regardless of behaviour is paramount...❤❤❤
And the time of them being young flies by. Miss it.

Mark I love the cold, windy, rain filled days too. It also means if you go for a walk or a run in bad weather it is quieter because most people stay indoors waiting for the sun to shine..... fools 🙂 👍

Its ok to do nothing (need to take my own advice lol), but we all feel guilty and feel the need to catch up with the invisible people that we are convinced are competing with us!
