- During the late 90's and still in the height of Supermodels MTV had an annual event called fashionably loud. It was where the current top Musicians played live during a fashion show of top selected designers with the current crop of Supermodels . Here's one of the most memorable show , Prodigy playing live during the Vivienne Westwood's presentation. You can spot Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, Bridget Hall, Helena Christensen, Eva Herzigova, Jason Olive, Cameron Alborzian and Marcus Schenkenberg.

There were 14 minutes when MTV actually meant something--and THIS is IT.
I agree 100%. This all just popped in my head as I remember being a junior in high school and just thought to myself “didn’t prodigy do something live on a fashion show”. As soon as I clicked on it this was definitely it.
The 90s were straight-up madness, man. Completely unhinged. I so miss them.
MTV when it was still cool. Now all we have is Teen Mom on an endless loop.

Man, this was the 90's. Internet wasn't yet populated with bullshit. Saw this in my cuzzo's VHS tape and I was a freshman in high school back then. This was the show that got me hooked up with this band! Fucking gives me the chills till now! REST IN POWER Keith Flint!

MTV needs to create an MTV classic channel. This series, headbangers ball, 120 minutes and other music oriented shows with the newer giant screen TVs would kick ass and put MTV back on top

YES!!! Never heard of Prodigy until this show but watching Keith Flint scream and stare at the models is what made me run out and purchase The Fat of the Land.
About half of these poor models looked quite anxious or irritated during the Prodigy’s set. Luckily, they didn’t have “Smack My Bitch Up” unleashed upon them.

The first time I saw this I had been in my bedroom doing homework and I fell in love with Prodigy and Tricky. Maxinquaye is still one of the best albums I've ever heard along with Fat of the land. These guys put on a show like no one I'd ever seen. It was so electric I got chills even though I was watching it on an old box tv😊

I remember watching this on MTV.
I remember being sooo excited and waiting weeks for this to air. Looking back though tooo cheesy haha the male model in pink pants! I love how they did Funky Shit for Leeroy and finishes with ChemicalBros "rock the house in" remix of voodoo people!

Punk was around before all those things.
New York punk WAS around before the fashion per se. At much as I loved the Pistols Siouxie and The Clash, they WERE heavily influenced by fashions in London. The rest of the UK was somewhat immune due to a certain antipathy towards London.
Oh, when MTV was still kinda innovative, a little punky and entertaining...
