Air looks good! Fast, smooth delivery. Fun to have a lefty at the Shoe! Let's goooo, Bucks!
Definitely a difference in arm strength.
Air Nolan has a powerful arm.
@@landonlc4The footwork is not that dramatically different. The arm strength is. Nolan's arm is like a howitzer...
Agreed jaydn footwork outstanding
Air is THE best qb in this class. Extremely accurate. He is always looking down field.
two great athleles !!!!! Air pushes the ball on his release...... With Jadyn the ball pops out his hand, Air seems to have more arm strength, Jadyn seems more accurate. They both definitely have D1 talent should be a great match up in the future.
I'ma buckeye fan and Davis is way more quicker but his motion and release is wild he will get that fixed but air Noland has that perfect dart throwing pass that slings out effortlessly and it's scary that he hasn't even got to college yet and with Ohio states wr corp and Ryan day offense he can be a star
Yeah man I’m a die hard Michigan fan and I think Air Noland is out of this world good. He’s literally throwing bullets out there
Air played in best comp in the country and put up crazy numbers and an amazing td/int ratio...... His ranking will rise when its all said and done and wouldn't surprise me if he passes Davis...... 🤔
Air Getting a chip and will be a top 5 pick when hes gone.
I'd be curious to know the specific criteria the ranking services used to rank Davis ahead of him.
@@billytuesday4492 I got the same question. Air plays against better competition and has better numbers
@@smalltowntxscratcher6573 To quote the kids, I know, right? 😊
Watched both kids play I think both will be great college qbs but the bigger slightly better and played better comp Air Noland I think is special watching all the qbs I think he’s the best of his class despite hype/ranking
Michigan fan here. Both did extremely well. Both can sling it and both have nice touch. Only real difference is the wind ups but Phillip Rivers and Justin Herbert’s made it work so little issue their… At the end of the day name the top 10’QBs in the NFL - none of them WON the elite 11 so take it what you will. Rivalry’s In a good place.
Justin fields, CJ stroud and Tua
@@user-ov3km7tv5n Fields is not a top 10 QB…If he was they wouldn’t be debating drafting one with the number 1 overall pick lol
Stroud is good as a rookie.. but sophomore slumps happen all the time ask Baker Mayfield
Tua is a good one. But he’s been questioned his entire career so far
@@RohnnyBravo Stafford.
@@RohnnyBravo no response
@@user-ov3km7tv5n Stafford has 2 pro bowls in 13 years as a starter with Calvin Johnson as his WR1 for most of them. The lions got better without him and for majority of his career has been sandwiched in the Brady, manning, Rodgers, brees, rivers, Roethlesberger, Matt Ryan, Romo, Andrew Luck, Cam Newton, Russell Wilson ladder era. He has never been top ten hence her would have more pro bowls and at least ONE all pro selection… Keep naming Non top 10 QBs plz
That release is SICK. Pretty nice touch/pace depending on the level. Accurate too.
Davis has the lollipop pass down
Noland's spin on that ball is off and takes a weird trajectory. I can see his pass getting batted down a lot at the collegiate level.
Really? Not Jadyn Davis’ large ass windup 😂😂
lol your profile picture says it all. but he's a lefty.. the spin on the ball always looks different . haven't seen to many lefty qbs throw I'm guessing
The real question now becomes will Jaydn be able to hold off Bryce Underwood as Michigan's starting QB in 2025?
Jadyn Davis looked great as usual 🙌🏻〽️
Noland - Arm Talent
Davis - Extend Plays
Davis has a big windup. He'll need to get that fixed.
Good luck having Hairbaugh fix anything for that kid
@@melo7969rt, can't handing the ball off 40 times a game...... How his decision is a difference in millions 🤔
@@annarborbuckeye95why can’t they? Jordan Marshall and Taylor Tatum will be good running backs and Sherrone Moore knows how to develop the OL
@@prestonspencer6826 my comment had to do with Jaden Davis. 👀
Also that entire Oline is gone next year so we'll see what it looks like 🕵️
Moore is a good coach I'll give you that and both back ur referring to would be TRUE freshman. Y'all better hope they ready to play in the big Ten and contribute immediately..... Cause passing the ball around isn't what y'all do or even can do so...... 🤷
@@annarborbuckeye95 good thing Michigan makes cupcake schedules to prep for the Big Ten season 😎.
Both looked good...I would give AIR the nod though. He looked better on the run where I thought Davis struggled with accuracy a couple times.
The 3 things I noticed:
1) Air is taller and that can help in the pocket (or stands up taller).
2) Air is more accurate overall. Jadyn is good but Air is better.
3) Jaydn has a BIG wind up that costs him quite a bit of time in his release. Air has a much quicker release.
😂😂😂
@@LuckyLefty92 do you not agree with his assessment? Lol
😂 No lol
All of the comments on here....Everything OSU commit did was god tier, everything Michigan recruit did was trash... sooo much objectivity here😂
As an OSU fan they both did good! Both can still work to improve their game before the next level though!
@@garryrobinson5695 ik idk y people gotta be biased like I think they both did good u can tell air got that arm but I think davis footwork and general management in game and ball placement better
@@chillzzz3513that’s some cap. Noland was the better player today.
Davis is a munchkin that couldn't outrun the the short fat white kids in his Mickey Mouse league. He better grow taller and get faster if he plans on seeing over the line of scrimmage or running for his life.
Don’t trust commentary on here. Trust who got the invite to the Elite 11.
😂 relax Jadyn Davis has killed it in a lot of these tournaments since last year, which he is why he is so highly ranked. He does need to work on that release. Air Noland looked crisp and sharp he should be up there with Raola, Sayin, and Davis for sure 👌🏻
Davis arm speed definitely slower. Won't make much difference in college, but it will in pros.
He has time to work on it
not being biased but air noland just looks way smoother with all his motions throwing the ball, clearly more accurate too
Mr.Nolan can spin it and wing it!!!
I'm really starting to believe that Davis will surprise and win the job by Fall. His Super Power as a Prep was processing and getting the Ball out on time and accurate. You watch enough tape and look at the High School career and that's what you've got. With a Big O-line and tons of Weapons(Loveland, Edwards, Moore and Morgan) 😂.
Both look pretty good.
looking sharp. spin , footwork, ball has some jump off the hand..
Both look good for their age etc. Both will need work in their respective systems. That said, let's see if the "harbaugh effect" impacts JJ's progress this next season.
Former 5 star Shea Patterson regressed statistically over his time under Harbaugh. Jim’s got a reputation with QB’s without ever having to ever actually develop one. Luck was a generational talent, Kap was amazing in his prime, Shea regressed, and JJ has been serviceable. No notable QB development on his resume.
@@BlackMountainCyclesatterson wasn’t that great with Ole Miss either. Dude was a turnover machine. Not to mention for a QB he had some pretty small hands.
Air definitely looks bigger or stronger overall than JD
Jaydn Built Like A Safety 😂
Nolands velocity looks like hes ready right now.
Both solid QBs I think Davis has higher ceiling air already polished, better footwork better placement in throws under 25yrfs.
I actually don't mind Davis' release bc the ball jumps but could def i😊improve there.
Look I can't stand Michigan but college football is much better for me when they're a good team
Michigan fan here & i hope JJ stay’s for his senior year Davis needs work #GoBlue
Strip sack waiting to happen with that throwing motion from JD
Dreaming again or wishing
@@otisjohnjr.3023 you won 3 games out of 22. You figure it out……
@@otisjohnjr.3023 Me when someone says "michigan will win a playoff game"
@@ionlybringthistoyoubecause1783 what about you?
@@Bobbyo60 Bobby, Bobby, Bobby I've not won or lost a game yet, I'm just another observer. What I've been observing is the Michigan offensive linemen and they certainly demolished the OSU defensive linemen the last two years. This year ought not be any different considering those that are returning.
Interesting how the QB that OSU prioritized over the other now appears to be inferior all of a sudden...lol.
Jadyn probably the chosen one, but my money on Noland
Davis has a really long throwing motion.
Both are great but Noland will have more weapons to shine.
Man, since he Beat TTUN, that has me wondering if we beat TTUN in 2024 and also, I think we can beat them in 2023. #GOBUCKS.
So this is pretty much the combine before college this doesn't mean anything
Michigan fan here
Noland is more crisp, better throwing motion/quicker release, stronger arm, has the more *live* arm, looks to have the higher ceiling in terms of his long-term potential
Davis has the weaker arm, slow release, less power, has to drive the ball whereas Noland can just fling it. Davis looks physically slow in comparison. That all said, I do think Davis looks like he'll have better control/accuracy, at least in the short term. Of course, Noland makes up for this with his athleticism. Less need to be accurate when the QB can run well.
People say this that about kids that are just trying to be in the best fit best system best chance to get to the next level is insane truly childish, Air bigger Arm, tighter motion, deadly accurate got wiigle with legs, needs work a bit on footwork but has great intangibles, Davis got wiggles, big arm, his arm motion is way to big ,needs work on relase but threw some nice balls also He was our 2nd Qb on board Ravioli was 1 decommit screw us, BUT DID HE ? i think Air may have it and played better high school ball then both kids and state champ with a billion pass yards ONLY 4 picks ... STATE CHAMP GEO HIGH SCHOOL... think we won in the End go bucks
I Think Air Noland is going to end up being the better quarterback. Ryan Day will help polish him in a way that Jim Harbaugh Cannot do for Jadyn Davis.
I don’t know Jadyn Davis at all I’m sure he’s that deal hell of a player on the other hand Air I know personally he’s a competitor has all the intangibles
Air can just flick his wrist and that ball going 60yrds Davis needs to wind his shii up see if Michigan can fix that prolly not tho xd
Davis throws a pretty ball and he looks smooth but his size scares me. Especially because he's not fast or extremely athletic. The short fat white kids were chasing him down on his highlight tape.
Michael Hawkins jr. hands down
There’s a reason Jadyn is ranked 40 spots higher than air. They both looked good and based on this video only I’d say air looked better. But go off the tape and body of work and don’t just be a ignorant homer. Go blue. 〽️
So air clearly has the bigger arm and tighter throwing motion. I think Davis is more accurate has better footwork and is better in the intermediate game ( 0- 25 yards). I was also encouraged by Davis’s measurables Ive been worried about that 6’0 profile but it looks to be legit seeing him next to Noland who I believe is 6’1
Davis accurately is not throwing it better than air idk what your watching my guy
@@antoniomills2795 and I don’t know what you’re saying so I guess we’re in the same boat.
JD doesn’t look as good as his rating
JD is a game general he puts it where his receivers can catch it and can throw dots
I see two five stars in my opinion
Davis is a good middle school QB...
Davis is sailing passes no pressure or anything he’s a bum
This ain’t fair a ohio state account posts this and now all I hear r the osu d riders talk ab who’s better 🤣 literally both can sling it end of slower yes noland has better arm but JD is a game manager and can make them throws
At least you’re an honest Michigan fan and not a troll. Davis played solid but it’s clear who the better passer is at least right now. I’m a cfb homer but with high school recruiting I’m impartial and I just noland played better.
OSU always recruits better QBs because they have better QB evaluators and their offense highlights their strengths. Better luck next time.
We all looking at the same tape regardless who posted it.
Funny, Jaden Davis getting publicity just on ohio states coattails
Not good one tho look at that form😭🫵😭🫵😭🫵😭🫵
Munchkin publicity
Jadyn Davis and Ohio State's backup plan if Jaydn commits to Michigan 😂
Yeah but our backup plan outplayed your star. What does that say about Davis?
@@wendyuwajeThey both look like high school kids who need a lot of work to me. But go ahead thinking wearing shorts in a relaxed environment says anything at all 2 years before these guys are actually playing in college.
But, what if I'd rather have Air Noland? Then what? Haha
@@ionlybringthistoyoubecause1783 keep him. He could end up being the best in class or might not ever even start at OSU.
Neither guy looks anywhere as good as Joe Milton in shorts throwing the ball to receivers in a calm camp setting. However when Joe put the pads on and had live bullets flying he was awful, hence why he lost his job to Cade McNamara and is now at Tennessee.
@@mgoboski he's played well at Tennessee any time he's got an opportunity. Could it be a Harbaugh problem?
