- I like each section of the song, I just don't think I like them all together. There were a lot of good ideas in there that I wish were fleshed out more in a separate song. The traditional Korean elements especially were underutilized, wish they went that direction instead of the early 2000's vibe or at least blended those genres better.

Not to be overdramatic but listening to this feels so satisfying because it has everything I wanted Pink Venom to be, the transition between one part and another sounds much smoother. The ending is more epic too! I love both the original and your version of Pink Venom 💕

Girl, the chorus sounds so off beat because it literally destroys the anti-drop of the chorus with the Geomungo instrumental carrying over from the verse to the chorus. The chorus' anti drop doesn't sound impactful with it carrying over, maybe with a different chorus line it'll be good but it's not a 99% way of saving the whole song.
You just heard the outro and decided it's the best version of the song LMAO. Original Pink Venom plus the outro of Zsunder will be the 99% way of saving the song, but not the whole Zsunder version.

they could've just went with the Traditional Korean instruments and worked it even better, but they had to do what they liked. Kinda disappointed but it is inevitable. Your interpretation is really good and I am amazed by the amount of effort put in here.

This interpretation became more focused to the vocals as the instrumental became minimal and I like it! The chorus hits better and the ENDING? PERFECTION! Bratatata became just a piece of the lyrics and I can hear that Chuu - Heart Attack vocal chop and some adlibs from Playing with Fire!

Agree, BP tends to use a traditional sound in a lot of their music but they never use traditional Korean. It would have been nice to let go of the Arabic/Egyptian sound for once and go full Korean.
right ! i really thot they were doing something really rare which was mixing traditional music but they couldn't balance it well, like the electric guitar was such a good mix but the chorus dropped the traditional sound afterwards which was so dissapointing
wow. I don't hate the original, its grown on me quite a bit but... this sounds so much better. aside from the obvious (the chorus), I never really liked the rap in the second verse for too many reasons to name. this version sounds SO much more natural and the rap is perfect!
And it flows so smoothly which pink venom lacked

THIS ENDING IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. The original one felt so random and disconnected to the whole song, this one hits harddd!!! So so good!
I’m a musician and I can say that both this version and the original are great.
This one is slightly more bass focused and at points feels a little empty but at the same time it emphasizes more the vocals.
The original is more full in terms of sound and therefore the vocals aren’t as emphasized.
The ending on this version is TEN TIMES better than ANYTHING from the original.
I’d take this version’s ending over constant, awkward “grrratatatata” for the entire few seconds or however long it actually was.
Overall, great job!

I can't tell you how much I love that you added the electric guitar during Rosé's scenes and the actual silence before the dance break, it was really soemthing that was missing in the original.
I was NOT expecting the ‘stop drop’ to actually stop, but it was infinitely better than the original song. YG producers should listen to fan remakes and change their game.
The Rosé and Jisoo part ( 0:35 ) omg??!!! It actually gave me chills 😱 I love it!
im not sugar coating when i said this is better than original. you arranging the progression chord on the bridge that actually fit rose and jisoo line chords :) also even though i still pretty much like the original breakdown version. it would be so cool tho if blackpink had breakdown beat that sound like this!!!
Definitely liked this better than the original. Feels a bit more coherent. Particularly the pre-chorus and bridge. Especially everything after the bridge i like better.

the transition from chorus to the rap hit different, i liked it more here. the outro's more epic. agree w/ traditional instruments being underutilized, it really deserved more. overall, this was more of a smooth chill ride, while the original felt like a theme park ride. (both are fine as is! just diff vibes). as always, great work. :)
Yeah, it feels like the whole song is sorta re-engineered.
Like the Verses are the highs of the song instead of the chorus (except for the final chorus). So you pay more attention to the verses in this version - which I think is a good choice.
There's only so much you can do with a song like this... is what I thought before hearing this.

The vocals of Chuu from Heart Attack and the vocals of Playing With Fire turned into adlibs were integrated so well ! I wouldn't have noticed it before a lot of listens without people's comments. I just noticed at the intro something that sounded like 2NE1 at 0:12, am I right ?

I'm fully happy with the original version, but there are so many interesting things happening in this remix, this brings new possibilities for this song that I didn't imagine. The 2 first choruses especially were amazing then the final came and amazed me even more!

For me, it's clear that the original pre chorus is the part that doesn't works in the oficial track. This pre chorus you made matches the song and the vocals SO WELL. I like you kept the string sound all along the song, it makes the track more cohesive.

I like BP, but not only are their main singles repetitive, but the dance breaks are always very anti-climactic, which is disappointing on its own. Yet you made it FANTASTIC, so energetic! The way you added the ''blackpink' vocals from the intro is a simple idea, yet it just added that extra something. Great job!

this is legitimately perfect. every single change made to the song changes it for the better and i believe that if the song was actually like this i would've liked it on my first listen without any hesitation. one thing though is i think it'd be a cool little touch if there was like a little guitar riff after rose's line where she says "i'm so rock and roll" so the line could have more impact and some actual musical context
I liked the OG's verse beats more but this one's chorus, bridge and outro SLAPS! I really liked the traditional instruments going on in the bridge and some guitar riffs.

The pre-chorus, dance break, and the first verse is so much better. I also like how you can actually hear an electric guitar at the part where Rosé is playing It because that bugged me when i saw it for the first time and there's no loud guitar sounds at that part😂
This is the superior, canon version of Pink Venom beat for me.
yessss i love this revamped version because other remixes tried to get rid of the emptiness instead of working WITH it. i love this one because it stays with that special blackpink sound. so in love.
1. The prechorus sounds a MILLION times better with that reharm.
2. You fixed the weird note in the bridge, the original had Jisoo singing on the 2 while the bass was on the b2 and it was.... bad
3. I am so grateful you took most of the la ta ta ta's out, the finale is way more effective now

I am part of the group of people that was disappointed with the anti-drop of the original, because i was expecting a powerful song, and it feels like it doesn't belong.
But this version gave harmony to everything, because it maintains the same vibe until the last chorus, and the last chorus had a nice anticipation, so it works. Unlike the original one that has a powerful and fierce build up that is followed by an electro-hop anti drop.
So good, this was the answer, the song works better with a consistent hip-hop beat.
