Your videos are inspiring and motivating. Raw, honest and true hunting. Very cool your thinking of and thanking your loved ones when you're at your best. Thank you for sharing all aspects of your incredibly hard work🤘
That is 100% the coolest thing I have seen this year. Those guys are badass to help you and smile the whole time. Good on you Dan to give them the knowledge to hopefully get some encounters. Love this one!! They need to update us on the bench max!
Here's the podcast follow up with Jason on their season if you wanted to know how they did! -DS. open.spotify.com/episode/6rlCuLsXqfSIFWWgWTLHgT?si=FGFdKfEbRsuADzl_AWZYwQ
Those guys were definitely a blessing. A gift from your hard work and theirs. Receiving knowledge of the land is more than worth the donated effort for helping pack out. That wholesome commitment to each other makes this one of the best hunt videos shared so far on this channel. Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely enjoyed this one! so glad you showed the pack out, everyone shows the killing and never the work involved, the work is the payoff! those were some good dudes, I truly hope they had some good success, good on you Dan for sharing with them what you learned.
God is good. We are blessed with public lands to enjoy our passions and contrary to much media hype, many good people that help each other when they are able. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience.
Even though I knew from IG that you would get your Idaho bull, it’s awesome to watch the story unfold. Definitely dropping some Elk Shaped golden nuggets for us as you breakdown your day. Highly appreciated. God is good indeed. Pretty cool 😎 how someone you had at Elk Shape camp, happened upon you on the mountain 🏔 with 3 or 4 other strong 💪🏻 backs to help you pack out your bull. That segment was almost like an in season coaching session of Elk Shape Camp.
My best upgrade has been the last 2 years investing into some kuiu camo. Always was rocking the Walmart and solids. Better clothing helped me push my barriers for distance while being comfortable! Next is upgrade rangefinder and pack. Missed a few shots on some elk this year so my goal is shoot my bow alot more the whole year!
The best gear upgrade was going to sheepfeet in my boots!!! Just can't believe how they changed my feet game!!! Do you know what handgun holster the dude is running behind his marsupial gear bino harness?
Great work Dan. Keep shooting those non bugging bulls, so the Doug Flutey's like the rest of us have a chance at buggling bulls. Don't know if I speak for everyone but less whispering in the videos would be great. I know it would be more work to do VoiceOver back home editing, but like most people, our wives don't like the volume up high for when the buggling occurs in elk videos . . .
Seems like besides a lot of the douchebags most archery hunters look out for one another man and it's very good to see that awesome job then thanks guys for helping
All the big big TV guys show hunting in rain and make it look fun and "romantic" hunting in down pours... there is nothing fun about it. Those ppl must be hunting ranches. It baaaaloooooows.
I grew up in Idaho. Freakin love that state. Can’t recognize the unit. Haven’t been there in a while. Leaning towards north? Care to indulge your tactic for narrowing down the unit you choose?
That was awesome. So glad to see hunters helping each other.
thank you! they were great ppl

Congrats on a good bull! Good things happen to good people. Those guys who helped will be rewarded.
It would be cool to get an update to how those other guys did.

Those are the guys who you'd want to run into when it's time to pack! 💪. Solid guys!
No doubt!
That is what hunting is all about. Helping each other and good times

Ran a Zoleo this year.. they’re great
With all the pistola's I'm assuming you were in GBear country...did you see any of them or see any sign?

Do you have to change your sight tape with your boradheads or do you have a trick to counter that?
No, broadheads and field points fly the same after broadhead tuning
@@ElkShape so how do you do your broadhead tuning, is that just a paper tune or something?
What is that cord you have on your rangefinder?
God is good ALL the time
The best gear upgrade was going to sheepfeet in my boots!!! Just can't believe how they changed my feet game!!! Do you know what handgun holster the dude is running behind his marsupial gear bino harness?

Yes, Reed call. Always have one in your mouth ready to go.

What unit?

Great video but the audio was so soft hard to hear it. You need mics
Pass through? Looked like it
Indeed. -DS

Word! More Voice Over for sure. This video really was designed to showcase the aftermath once a bull hits the dirt. Hope you dig it. -DS
Good job. You should have shared all your information about the area.
I know you're trying to be quiet and all in the mountains but me being hard of hearing couldn't hear what you were saying with my volume maxed
Need to let the young bull grow dude. Need to get the more mature elk!!
Just throw me a text next time I’ll help you pack out brother 🤘🏼
