Always well presented and the information you provide is valuable to me here in Australia. I have a 2018 Santa Fe Highlander. Looking at changing when the warranty expires. Will go for the updated Santa Fe after watching this. Thankyou for taking the time to put these videos together.
hi there, thx for the video. finally find a review of silver santa fe!!! good job. and a quick question, what color do u think is the best for santa fe?
We were supposed to see the all new model at the end of 2023. But poor sales here in Korea have forced the company push that up to the end of this year. Pity, cuz this is a really nice suv!
I BELIEVE YOU OVERLOOKED TWO NICE FEATURES. WHEN YOU TURN OFF THE IGNITION, THE DRIVER SEATS GOES TO FURTHEST REAR POSITION AND WHEN YOU PUT IT INTO REVERSE, BOTH OUTSIDE MIRRORS TURN DOWNWARD TO SEE CURBS AND PARKING LINES BETTER. I HAVE 2020 TURBO ELITE, AND I LOVE ALL IT FEATURES. IF YOU LEAVE A BABY OR DOG IN IT FOR TOO LONG, YOU MUST PROVE TO JUDGE YOU ARE BLIND AND DEAF. YOU WILL ONLY GET ABOUT TEN FEET, AND THE HORN, ALL LIGHTS COME ON TO TELL YOU, YOU FORGOT SOMETHING IMPORTANT!! GREAT VEHICLES. THE PASSENGER SEAT HAS FULL POWER AND LUMBAR LIKE DRIVER SEAT. WHEN PARKING HIT THE CAMERA BUTTON AND YOU WILL SEE THE PARKING PLACE WITH GUIDE YELLOW POINTERS. IF YOU STAY UNDER TEN MPH, THE SCREEN WILL REMAIN ON AND YOU COULD DRIVE BY IT. THE HEADS UP DISPLAYS ARROWS FOR THE DIRECTION TO TURN, THE LEGAL SPEED LIMIT ALSO. THE ADAPTIVE CRUISE MAINTAINS YOUR SET SPEEP UP AND DOWN HILLS. IT WILL AUTO STOP FOR YOU IN TRAFFIC, POWER HOLD WILL ALLOW YOU TO RELAX AT LONG LIGHTS BUT JUST HIT ACCELARATOR AND OFF YOU GO. THE AUTO START STOP IS DEBATABLE. WHEN THE MOTER STOPS, IT KILLS THE A/C!!! YOU FIGURE OUT FOR YOUR CLIMATE. MY ONLY REAL COMPLAINT IS YOU MUST USE YOUR PHONE TO REMOTE START. I JUST WANT A BUTTON TO PUSH LIKE THIS ONE HAS.😏😁😁😁🥰
Peter, I like the Santa Fe for the style and overall look (it's a beaut), but I love the feature rich Kia Sportage. Specifically the huge dash display, camera's and sensors (what the top trim offers) With that said, my decision will come down to dollars and features. Is there a trim package for the Santa Fe that offers all the 'bells and whistles' that the top Sportage trim offers, but in a price comparative model/trim? I guess if it doesn't, then I have to choose between the stylish look of the Sante Fe and the feature rich Sportage. Tough decision as I'm big on both; Style & Features please help
What has the Sportage got that the Santa Fe doesn’t? Sportage and Tucson are based on the same platform. The Santa Fe is a different vehicle, larger engine options, 7 seater etc
@@timtulip I think it's the two 12 inch screens that wins me over. I like the parking assist as well and that you can use the key fob to move the vehicle on it's own.
@@timtulip I guess it just comes down to the better interior (those two screens are sweet on the Sportage) and the exterior. Can't get enough of those boomerang lights.
@@shaunmckinley1208 haha it’s crazy, the boomerang shaped DRL’s and their placement is what makes me dislike the Sportage! I just don’t like how they narrow the front end so much.
Yes, there is room for a spare under the vehicle. Actually you can store a full size spare if you want. You must install the factory lift kit which raises and lowers the tire.
Do these car go through a break in period as my 2022 Santa Fe with the 2.5 turbo only shows 337 miles on a full tank and looking at your it’s over 400, is there something not right
In the Canadian owner manual at the page 1-7 you have the break in process. I'm guessing it will be in the same area in the American manual. (I'm guessing you're American because you're talking of mileage)
Not sure. It's rated for around 300 horsepower in that vehicle, I believe, so they may have a different tune with different fuel. This car is rated for 281 horsepower.
This one is designed for 87 octane. Genesis can be used for 87 octane, but it is designed for premium gas. If you use normal gas on premium cars, the cylinders related to oil lines may have problems.
According to the owner manual page 9-8 you should change engine oil every 8000 miles under normal condition. For maintance under severe usage just check few pages after. Everything is there, just to have to check in the manual ;)
Hii i just bought hyundai santafe calligraphy 2022. I just want to know that it has wireless apple carplay. If it has that how it works ????? Please someone help me. Please i will be very thankful. Please help me with this thing.
I own the limited version of this vehicle and if the car behind you is too close, they won't see your turn signal since it's so low on the car. Very annoying because they start beeping at me.
Ok, so we've had this debate on the channel, and while I don't like the signal down there from a styling perspective, the person behind you would have to be SO close to you in order to not see it. If someone is THAT close to you, the danger isn't the signal location, it's the person who is driving dangerously close behind you. In that case, you're in danger for many reasons.

Great car …. but. I’m reaching out to fellow 2021-22 Santa Fe Calligraphy owners. (2.5 T w/HTRAC) I’m vexed; the Radiator fan will randomly run at full speed for 1-2 mins. after I turn the engine off. The Dealer can’t find any sensor defects in the diag. We live in a mild climate; the engine is not being taxed when this happens. This can’t be normal. Is anyone out there experiencing this issue too? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated - Rick
I wonder if it has to do with the turbos? I'm not sure, but the best place to diagnose an issue definitely at a dealer, and definitely not in the UA-cam comments section. So just a word of warning that the internet can sound intelligent, and not be, when it comes to diagnosing issues.
Hi Rick. Small engines with large turbos are very prone to heat soak, where very hot turbo components continue to add heat to the overall engine system even after shutdown. To obviate this problem, many turbocharged cars will continue to pump oil and coolant through the system after shutdown, and run the fans to cool the fluids. My Golf R did it all summer. Can’t say definitively that it’s the case with your vehicle, but it’s very possible.
I think you’ll be happy with this vehicle. It has a great ride. Better than in previous generations. See if you can test drive one to see for yourself though. Don’t take the opinions of UA-camrs when you can decide for yourself! :)
Why did the Koreans fail to fold the seats completely like a marble surface for a comfortable sleep inside with the touch of electricity... Why did the Koreans fail in the double and crawl system... and in the presence of a giant fuel tank.. Also cooling seats With independent control of the air conditioning for each passenger..also electrical outlets for each passenger with a mobile phone, mobile phone and battery charging..various and sufficient power outlets
You mean the Ultimate Calligraphy? Yeah, I'm not sure who that appeals to. I learned Calligraphy in grade school, but it isn't something that screams "buy me now" to me. The vehicle is great though!
I own it for 3 months and I would say it's just a bad car. Rattle sound from doors, a lot of beeps from safety systems without any reason, it always displays me warning about keeping a hand on the wheel, somethings it can show this warning every 20 seconds, to remove it I need to "shake" wheel or car will start to beep and get to "red" level of warning. The seat memory doesn't memorize lumbar position, which makes it useless. Plus, with 20" wheels and low profile ties the riding is very harsh and discomfort. Don't waste your money on this, anything will be better than this.
