I think you should have pour the pad and put the shipping containers on the concrete because the ground will hold moisture in it it will rot your bottom out of your shipping container and then it would have been a slave over as you would want it to be overtime your shipping containers will settle on the dirt I am sure that you already know that I know it would have cost you more money and in the long run it would have paid off

Hello Eldridge fam. My mom (Dolores) and I discovered you a couple of months ago. She is 88 years old and had a stroke about 3 years ago. It’s hard for her to concentrate on things and keep her interest. Something about your show and your family really resonates with her. Every day she asks me if “our little family“ has posted anything today. It fascinates her that you are also in Oklahoma. Thank you for the time you take to share your lives with us.
Crandall, you are her favorite because her daddy was a carpenter/preacher. She remembers him doing so much of what you do.
Marcy, she is so concerned about how you go out in the sun or drive without your sunglasses with your beautiful blue clear eyes. She just thinks that’s too much sun for you. Lol.
    And those boys. 🥰
Joy and happiness to you and your beautiful family.

That was awesome that you found what you needed in those trusses. I love a good find, whether it is in ads or thrift stores. 💖☺️💖
You probably will want help doing the pad. A pad that size will take an experienced crew to pour and finish correctly. You'll be happier in the long run if you have it done right the first time. 💖💖💖

Just thinking, would it be a good idea to give the containers a couple week or a month to settle. Because if or when it rains it’s probably going to settle. The ground isn’t compacted very well.
In the mean time you could rehome some of your animals as you had stated, And get their pen and shelter ready for the winter. Get the chicken coop set up nice for winter,And finish the inside projects in the house, now that it’s going to be really hot outside. Then in a few weeks when it’s a little cooler and the other projects are all done you can work outside on your workshop.

They do have pumper concrete trucks that don’t have to go inside the shop. The containers need to be on the concrete or they will rust out on the bottom from the moisture.

I love your upgrades on your property!
May I suggest that in the garden you lay professional landscape fabric under the new raised beds. It will give you a nice finished look. But most importantly, it will keep gophers, moles, and plants like honeysuckle and poison ivy from coming up through the beds. Take it from someone who had to move her raised bed garden this year because of this mistake.

Crandall You are a man of many talents. And Marci you have so much patience with four males to look after. You do remind me of Dad. When we knew the parents were coming to visit we (my sister and I) would have alist of things that needed fixing! When they came in the home Dad would say "Hello What needs fixing?" He would get busy and we would sit and visit with Mom. 🤗🤗💞💞💙💙

I think that while you're working on the workshop you should enclose those areas where those tree clusters are with the fencing and put the goats in so they can clean out the underbrush. That will put you one step closer to being able to see the dirt bike trail. Everything is looking great!

They sure do really travel well.
    They're hilarious!
Crandall, when your shop is complete will have a place you can work on your plane?
It's really cool that you're building a shop using shipping containers on part of it.
I look forward to your videos every day.

Suggestion:before the concrete gets poured dig a trench amd put pvc in it with an elbow and some pvc sticking up hig enough to extend over the concrete when poured. This way you can cap it with a drain and be able to hose down the shop if needed and the water can go out somewhere. It will prevent sloppy memes and ice dangers if it gets that cold there in the winter time 😂

On top of the shipping contaoners where things can be stored in the shop and out of the way when not needed. Also supplies like towels, oil, fuel cans any chemicals etc. The possibilities are endless! Im getting hype with ya Crandall! 😂

You need to finish your entertainment center. Your family should come first at ALL times. Your shop can wait until you do right by Marci and your boys. They should never have to wait or come last to you. Get that done before you finish your shop. Your family’s home needs to be done first. Practice this, “Family first always”.
