Michael Johnson (GOLD TRACK SHOES) Gold medalist like you stated at Dallas PTO in September 2022 (Where Taylor Knibb unfortunately lost the lead due to not being able to control/handle Heat/Hot conditions, but still showed guts and came in second! Wooho) that women after having youngens are actually "stronger" and typically perform better in their respective events. Are you finding this to be perhaps true in your training and are the "metrics" possibly showing these improvements compared say to your metrics prior to Rio 2016? I can "SEE" and I believe this to be TRUE in your case. I just Feel it! All the Best!! Can't wait to see you in Paris 2024 and I think you can represent in LA in 2028!! Ciao!

LOVED THIS! Would you be open to sharing your post partum recovery journey with George and how it’s different from Stanley - has it been more or less challenging? Any new issues come up, or were you more prepared because you sorta new what was coming?

The variations of deadlift Gwen does during this workout (not full deadlifts as those are from the ground up) are designed to strengthen the hamstrings, glutes, hip flexors, quads, core muscles, upper back muscles and lower back. The "chicken leg" movements with the exercise ball are desined to strengthen the core and hip flexors, and improve balance. The "twisties" (bar with with resistance bands) stengthen core and improve rotation for swimmers whose bodies must rotate smoothly and strongly during their strokes. Sliding boards with medicine ball and trunk twists improve balance, and strengthen quads and core. Leg backward thrusts while balancing on a ball board improve balance, and strenghten hip flexors, ankles, and core. All these exercises are great for triathletes who bodies must be toned for swimming, biking, and running.
