it’s crazy how well the US has marketed LA… without the palm trees and the sunshine it would literally look like a sad highway city.., really reminds you how much culture we have in europe
Indeed. Have you ever seen the movie "Roger Rabbit"? It looks like LA may have had some character many years ago, at least as far as US goes. As an American friend once told me - "I thought I knew history in the USA until I went to Europe, where literally everything I touched was older than our entire country!"
It’s one of those cities that looks like a the movies and everything in one area and the next neighborhood over is ran down and filled with homeless people.
I used to live in nyc and I will choose London and UK in general over USA 100 times. LA is super boring, undeveloped little village with a really bad food.
Out of all your vlogs I think is the one I reach for the most. I went to LA when I was 11 and I would love to back now that I am older. When I went I was obsessed with Miley Cyrus and Starstruck so I was freaking out haha.
If you truly want to broaden your horizons on this gap year I suggest considering Istanbul. It’s so close to Europe and the life style and facilities seem very much like Greece and Southern Europe. Loads of culture, fashion and so cheap.
Thank you for the Vlog Graces!!!!! :) !!! After having lived 10 years in london and 4 in Los Angeles (currrently now!) I can tell that shopping is definetly muuuuuch better in London!.. in all the senses.!! Both cities are amazing though. Now, the weather in Los Angeles is the best... And LA is such a cool city to live in. Great events and things going on, most of them outdoors.. and with lots of opportunities as well. Now, the coolest thing about LA is how one can grow its own spirituality and get to know herself. My opinion! :) !! Enjoy the cityyy!!!!
the white Chanel bag you guys should go to Paris they might have it, at least they had black and baby blue when I last went (last month) and it was so pretty
It’s so funny that you said celebs are just normal people in LA unless you’re Kylie Jenner or something and the fact u saw her after omggggg (I’m guessing that’ll be in the next vlog?)
@@fashionandfries i thought the same but surely the fact that it’s “influencer homeland” they could get more opportunities there and it would pay off? but i guess not 🙈
@@fashionandfries I don’t think travelling really has an aesthetic lol I just mean in general for a gap year it’s always super interesting to visit those places for the culture etc
@@georgiamellisa1097 no I agree with you, just going off their other travel vlogs they focus more on getting IG aesthetic content and restaurants etc and haven’t really been showing the cultural/ historical aspects so definitely can’t see them doing that in the US 😅
One thing to know about America is that most of the food….filled with hella calories and sugar, and the portion sizes….sometimes they’re massive, and sometimes they’re super tiny. Btw, the truffle gnocchi dinner that you two were eating is pronounced “knee-o-key” (the G is silent) but you say the “knee-o” like it’s one word.

How did u guys get into clubs/drink since u are under 21?
good question. The states are super hot on ID checking
because they’re two pretty girls ahahaha
They probably just tell the bouncers they’re from England.
You should try Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurants!
OMG YES like villa blanca or pump
you should get in touch with people from the hype house / famous LA tiktokers, that would be great
How do you get reservations for these restaurants? I would be so anxious to call🤣
Where is Graces f heart black glasses from! Love the vlog 💗
Do you not need to be 21 to drink in the US?
Fact that u ended up seeing Kendall
british airways was bad for me when i flew to usa too!
Loving these vlogs! 😍 Grace F where is your white jumpsuit from please? :)
Wow I really thought Scott Disick was sitting behind you @12.30 min

A good video vlog
Is that scot disick in the back table at 12:26????
Where’s that tweed set from ??
why are you going only for 2 weeks? you can stay for longer on a tourist visa…
Because it’s expensive

@@gscott8255 true! I would love to stay for a month
It’s super overpriced and there is no public transportation, only taxi, plus the rent is blooming expensive 4-5K 1bedroom
its a shame you guys aren't doing backpacking! like Southeast Asia, Latin America etc. that would be really fun to watch...
Yeah I don’t think that fits their channel aesthetic at all

i beg you all listen to an Italian pronounce it because "knee-o-key" is just as illegal LMAO
where are Grace Fs sunglasses from? xx
Ysl

i live here & literally see some of them grocery shopping lol
12:25 Scott from kardashians in behind them i think
Good thing you didn’t tell those boys your exact hotel, LA is filled with creeps and murders
💘💞💗😍😘🌺🌹
