  • On October 7th, 1853, the crew of the Fairy Queen abandoned ship as the vessel sank off the coast of Nova Scotia, leaving its passengers on board. Seven were lost, including several members of the congregation of the Kirk of St. James in Charlottetown. But did spirits foretell the tragedy earlier that day?
