@@Lofote i am perfectly fine with my gh5 af and the camera has more features i will ever need. If you once had panasonic ibis you dont look back. Af may be better in sony cameras but its good enough for everything i do. Imperfection is ok but lack of essebtial features is not

@@RodolphosTechchannel I think compared to the Fuji xt30, I still might consider the sony. The AF and low light performance is a hair better for mee. Its also cheaper

Lok / Kai reviews have a somewhat unstructured looser feel to them - somehow you learn a lot but you don't feel like you've watched someone just go through the features. Love it!

I think the most positive way to look at this camera is it is a better improvement to a5100 than m50 mkII to m50.
Man this throw me back to 2012 times, i still remember that lit iPad 2 “review” and 600d, also 5D Mark III.. you guys inspired me to learn cameras and even start my own tech review channel! Oh man Kai, lok, alamby, all the jokes, the bloody producer. I vividly remember how you decimate that 7D too! I was 12 back then.

I got one and I like it a lot (I am coming from the world of manual focus and old weird lenses though), but the lack of proper stabilisation does suck. The Catalyst Browse software does a great job of smoothing things out, but only works with AF lenses (or those with a proper electronic connection to the camera), and can take ages to do a bunch of clips.

@@JohnDrummondPhoto They really do need to improve that auto-focus. It's why I ditched my G7. Fine for pics, but poopy for video. Too bad cause it was a lovely little cam.
The price would be pushed way up with IBIS, and so is the camera size i think. So digital IS it is.

Hey kai you forgot to mention that a big new feature of the zv-e10 is that the MI shoe is firmware digital capable which is why you can use full digital Micphones like Sony's B1M that you have on it 👌

Still amazing that the touch screen function doesn’t work yet with menu systems.
Full frame cameras are overestimated for video. APS-C ones are much better and cheaper.
For another time Kai has delivered a great camera review with Lok.
I'm going to throw in a "it depends". For street vlogging: probably. Although it gives you more options for actual wide angle lenses I guess so there's that. Full frame should be beneficial in low light and to focus speed as well.
That being said: the cameras are often a lot more expensive and so is the glass. So the value is definitely a lot less.
Is the quality of 1080p video coming from this camera worse if compared to that of fuji or canon camera?

I have a trouble with ZV E10: after shooting video in 4K and recording audio on another mic I found that video and audio don't sync and the reason is that video goes a bit faster! Just 1-2% After slowing down the video everything is synced. I checked it in Vegas and Premier Pro. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

I wish we could have a parallel side by side shot of 1- the mic going off 6:11 and 2- Kai MkII dropping the flash over 10 years ago in " Pro DSLR + Cheapo Lens vs "Cheapo" DSLR + Pro Lens " at 7:48, sadly I guess the Kai Mk II bit belongs to a different company and can't really be acquired

for vlogging you dont use the flash why are there no colabs with rode by brands to put the shot gun microphone in the flash part of a dslr style mirrorless camera.

Built in mic is better for picking up the speaker in the front and back of the camera. I actually prefer it even though it has more wind noise. 7:00

Since the Alpha cameras are too expensive and have no stabilization whats so ever, I have to buy this one since I do not want to miss the lenses. At least it has Digital Stabilization. Would love to have finally IBIS but I cant afford 2k Cameras so easily. Also it is small and better than the ZV-1 which is for vloggers the best cam to get. Cant wait to order this camera, but still sad about the stabilization.
We need Alamby as a backup for the boys!
GoPro/dji action cameras are just as good if not better with great sounding sounding mics, and are waterproof. Not sure why you need an interchangeable lens for a vlog camera. They should have put more focus on the RX0 or the X3000. And for a higher end vlog rig they need to make the RX100 line with unlimited 4k recording limits, hotshoe with mic input and bigger battery, then you have a mini option that's waterproof, or a bigger option that's not waterproof before you step into the mirrorless interchangeable lineup.
They always omit one major feature that an ideal vlogging cam would need in order to sell the next version. It’s a crime this doesn’t have ibis.
Edit: I know Sony ibis is probably the bottom of the barrel for video but I’d rather them improve it than abandon it in video cameras.
