Last season I saw one of the worse SU defences in many decades, just one year later we've lost 16 players and brought in 12 new players but we now have one of the best defences we've had in decades. Like Athletico Madrid we seem to enjoy sitting back soaking up pressure, we have 2 giant centre backs (6ft 5 and 6ft 7) who can defend crosses and corners all day. Our goalie hasn't had much to do but he's so calm and has an air of confidence about him. Pretty confident Leeds will score 1 goal (we're well overdue conceding) but very few teams this season will score more than that. We're not exactly free scoring, attack is our weakness and we're generally relying on goals from moments of brilliance. Predict a 1-1 draw and most Blades would settle for that.
I've said the same on the Sheff Utd Way, Leeds 1-2 Blades, Hamer and Brewster to score after targeting Bogle at RB because we know he can't defend without fouling, we'll exploit him down our left as he's a weak link defensively.
It’s crucial we are realistic about this; of course I’d be overjoyed with a win but the Blades are a decent side and are better than us. I don’t like the delusion of Joe at times where he fakes positivity, it’s disingenuous and helps no one.
Not for me. I think they’ve not played a team like us yet! Just look at Sunderland, apart from the first 10-15 minutes we was in cruise control and without the stupid gaff by mes it was a near perfect away performance!
The only teams blunts have played who are current top 10 are Norwich away and Watford at home . They have had a favorable run of games . Confident we win to nil
