- Here is the full final boss battle against Kaos in Skylanders: Trap Team for PS4. The nightmare difficulty version of this fight is pretty much the same, only much longer and all of Kaos's attacks do more damage. Kaos can only be captured in a Kaos Trap, and he is the only villain that that trap can capture.

Despite his additude, Kaos is actually very powerful and a straight up genius.
Just look at all the villains in this game, despite all their power, Kaos' STILL rose over all of them and realized that the one thing staying in his way is US, the portal masters, AND earth, and became even stronger.
Best boss fight I’ve ever done.
To an eight year old me, this was truly the ultimate battle, and it still is.
This boss battle was actually the best in the whole series! But that is only MY opinion. I remember not having a chaos trap at the time, so when i got one i thought to myself "i have to do that all again?". No matter, becaused i loved how dificult it was, and i absolutely loved the music!
I agree with it being the best also the villain vault exist

I did a Nightmare mode run a while back, where I only played as Kaos (for those of you that don’t know, you can hold Attack 1 to make his main attack be only one element, and if you choose magic, you can refill your time infinitely). He made the whole game an absolute cakewalk. Yeah, sure, you don’t have Traptanium swords or anything, but he is by far the most overpowered villain in the game. What better reward for beating it?

Wow! Kaos’ original theme in the first part, A modified version in the second part, Mars in the third, an unknown theme in the fourth, and Night On Bald Mountain in the fifth.

It was Halloween of 2014 when I fought and beat Kaos. Stayed up until he was defeated in my newly acquired Kaos trap. Found a small cheat too. You could use Swap Force characters to be completely immune to his elemental orb attacks, and not need to swap constantly

I doubt we'd even survive that well in Skylands anyway, being used to Earth's conditions, we're just so fragile compared to the human-related species in Skylands. If he managed to drag us into his dimension, we'd probably be dead the moment we arrived. I mean, c'mon, dyou really think we'd survive in a fight like that ourselves?
Something I’ve never notice until now is that in this traptanium state….this man was a multi Dimensional threat due to him literally breaking the fourth wall and grabbing things form our reality, if he could do that he could have eventually did his goal to bring us into his world
I'm so happy that Kaos became full Sepheroth mode just for us.
When I first played I never realised how fricking big Kaos got in this level but seriously the music is amazing in this boss and I love how difficult it is as well

oz Doobalicous true. But if he were just a tiny bit smarter with his mind magic, he could've totally destroyed us. But, then again, that logic could be applied to any of his fights
Not to argue but robo kaos from giants is better
Kaos in his flying throne and the hydra from Spyro's adventure was the best one, hands down!
How to make a good game :
You get to play as the villain. Even if there is a time limit, it will still be great becuz of it.

When I first ever saw that when playing this as a little kid…
That scared the life out of me my heart almost jumped out of my chest
This boss must have been hell for little kids to play.Since these little kids (which is the primary age group for skylanders) have to go through a boss with bullet-hell like attacks that are hard to dodge.
Nicholas Triveri it took me two tries to play, first time all my skylanders died. I think I had about 75. The second time it was about 20 before I beat him. Yeah, it was hell considering I didn't have to restart in any other skylander game before or after this.

This was one of the hardest things I’ve played. And the music being one that I’ve listened to. EVER. I only had two skylanders at the time lol.

When I unlocked Kaos I was so excited but when you unlock him as a character he was not as cool as he was as a boss I got really sad that day and cried

this is a stonk move, save monet by only buying the game and getting only 1 trap for each element, and getting only one skylander and finish off the boss (or the whole game) with only one skylander

I still love after all these years of playing the game since 2014, I only began to realize a year ago that you can see the models for when Kaos is defeated in the sky
I gotta yap a story, because MAN this was a boss fight that shaped me when I was younger.
Me and my friend had been hype to fight Kaos after he broke the fourth wall and addressed us, but she told me I'd have to go alone after she got sick and couldn't come over. In her honor, I went through the level with determination.
Then, my heart pounding, I got to Kaos, and the fight began. Even on just Normal mode, it was harder than I expected- even if challenged myself to not use a villian. Eventually Wildfire went down, and the most bizzare thing happened.
My only explanation as to what happened was that perhaps I had died as Kaos was floating up to my screen to taunt me. For some reason, I couldn't hit him in melee. It wouldn't register I even hit him. So obviously I started to panic, switched to Snap Shot, and held onto him with all I had- as far as I knew, I could only hit Kaos with him and had to keep him alive.
And thankfully, I did it. I cussed a bit at Kaos at the trap screen and my lack of a trap for him, then continued through the credits.
To this day that was one of the most thrilling boss fights I've endured. It put my skill to the test, and I knew I had to get good. Love this fight so much.
Deadass as a kid this was one of the best boss battles I’ve done in my childhood, legit atlest a few of my trap masters died 😂
I remember playing this game and when i got to kaos my dads freind came over with the kaos trap dad bought off him and gave it to me right as i beat kaos

What I mean is:MAKE THE BATTLEFIELD BIGGER WHEN YOU FIGHT KAOS!!! IN IMAGINATORS!!! (Way to many enemies spawn in and the Skylanders are getting more tight space)

There was a glitch when I tried to play chapter 7 on trap team it was on the last section of the chapter and it glitched me back to the hub world

What could have been cool is if the Kaos Trap could capture any of the characters, but I guess that would be kinda dumb.

I actually had a nightmare about being pulled in and he trapped me in traptanium snapshot and blades was there snapshot ran up the the cristal and was pounding on it I put my hand up and snapshot put his hand up to it and I never seen a skylander like that in so much rage I woke up in literal sweat and slight tears poor blades and snapshot 😳😥

I played every Skylanders at max difficulty, and no matter how hard the fights were, i handled them all with one simple trick:

But it was still a pain because he does so much damage and when in his 3rd phase phase activates, he is so fast the only times I could actually hit him is when he does his sword attacks.

Best final boss in the entire series just for the music alone. But thats my opinion. I loved this game, and this boss. It really felt like this would be the end of the games. (Until superchargers was released)

the pure stinkocity of the cheese that was left to sit for 10,000 years along with the massive amounts of Traptanium he had infused into his body. Not to mention Kaos already had powers on his own. It all blends together to create the most epic final boss in all of gaming.
As a kid I hated that shark attack so much. How are you supposed to dodge that?
