Wow, only two days in Hakodate?! I went there during obon in 2017 and stayed there for almost a week and I still can’t say I d seen everything I wanted 🤔 It was really rainy the whole time I was there, so there was no one at Goryokaku, can you imagine! Maybe 2-3 people. I had the whole thing to myself. And I also rented a boat but since there was no one, the staff told me I could use it for as long as I wanted. Man, those nice times 🥰 Hakodate people were the most hospitable out of all the other regions, in my opinion
Planning on visiting Hokkaido in May (AFTER Golden week ;D ) and your video really helped! Thank you! To visit areas outside the main city center, should I rent a car? I'd rather not, because I don't read Japanese :/ Is it still easy to visit the surrounding areas?
Your English is very easy to listen and comfortable. Is your boyfriend a member of your English class ? Can you speak Japanese ? How long have you been in Japan ?
Thank you! My boyfriend lives and grew up in the U.S. I can speak some Japanese, but I'm still studying. I was in Japan for a year but I'm back in the U.S. now!
Is there anyway I can email you and discuss the Jet program? It’s just that I’m a finishing up college and I’m a bit worried about going and changing my life, I was thinking if I could chat with you then maybe I’d get a better understanding of it all. - Alexandra
Hi there Please answer my question I wanna apply for a job in Tsushima as an English teacher too But I should know about the salary How much they pay? and If steel is any school searching for an English teacher inside the island? It is obvious that Tsushima is much more cheaper than Tokyo area But how much do you spend monthly for a comfortable leaving there?
Hi! Tsushima hires their ALTs through the JET Program, so you would have to apply through there. You can check JET Program salaries online. Any rural place in Japan is probably cheaper than Tokyo so maybe you can look for English teacher jobs anywhere in rural japan (you can probably find more info on google). The cost of living isn't that high but keep in mind I did have to rent a car per month, since there's not really public transportation. Hope that helps!
@@logiebear so why don't you buy a car? Is it more expensive than renting anyone? Unfortunately I'm not a native English speaker so jet program is not available for me Have you any advice for someone like me who want to teach English in Japan outside of jet program mechanism?
You could also buy a car. I was only there for a year so it was easier to rent one. If you're a native-level speaker, it could still be okay. Other than that, I'm not sure of all the other programs requirements, but I've also heard of Interac or ECC. And the website GaijinPot has a job page where you can find jobs for foreigners. That might be helpful.
@@logiebear thanks a lot to spend your time to answer my questions I'm trying to upolod my picture to make a face to face conversation but I don't know how 😂😂😂

You can probably use public transportation! Just check ahead of time for where you want to go. Have a good trip!!

You should have some videos with you speaking japanese, maybe showing the school where you teach?
Yess eventually I want to do a video attempting to speak Japanese.
