    Question, you mentioned "mated queen, how you know she's mated? I caught one that size on tree limb a few days ago and put in nuc. Saw queen today and she was small and running fast around frame. Was wondering if she already mated. Thanks for any help

      The old man that taught me bees said if you find the queen outside the box 90% chance she's mated

    This just happened to me I picked the queen up and put her in the hive.
