I just posted a little video on FB about a guppy tank I just sat up and boy did I get some negative responses Why Well I converted my 13.5 fluval Evo marine to freshwater I was told it was a waste of a fishtank I am actually very proud of that tank I had to buy a smaller pump the scisci mighty mouse and I bought a light on temu for plants that was wrong too I guess but it fits perfectly so oh well
I keep seeing blue fish in the lank behind Lisa and am wondering what they are. Any chance they’re Electric Blue Jack Dempsey’s? I purchased 6 on an impulse then decided to research them. (I do too many things backward like that) I got a little concerned after reading how fragile they are and high mortality rate. Several sources claimed they’re are issues with their breeding and not found in the wild that color. I’ve since found two sources which contradict what the others said. I’ve had mine about 3 months now and so far so good. They look healthy, act happy and have been growing great. Do y’all have any pointers regarding EBJD’s?
Hi , from Greece. I’m originally from the uk and was a sub for years then it happened. I had a huge fish room and a 2500lt (sorry don’t do gallons) rescue pond for red tall cats, large gars common plecs etc for people who had no one else to give their “nice little fish” to. I also rescued cats for 25 yrs finding homes for the ones I could but just keeping the rest. Then one day I broke. Gave away my tanks got homes for the cats and moved to Greece (my wife’s from here so it’s not totally Radom) unsubscribed from you and all of my fish and cat groups. That was 2years ago . Then 4 weeks ago my wife finds a 210 lt tank by our rubbish …..one water test and a good clean and bugger me I’m back soil based heavy planted guppy, neon and tiger bastards sorry barbs. It’s a long way from where I was but I’m back…….. p.s I’m also now looking after some of the local street cats. Which there are lots. Love your channel it keeps me going. Thanks for reading. Tim B

I can understand why it's so overwhelming to go away! It is for us too. The cats inside & outside. The fish oh my gosh! We just wrnt to Jeffs parents in Kentucky a week ago for 5 days and ugh...finding someone we trust is difficult! Our normal house sitter is in Texas so it was worrysome...Aquashella is just so much fun! Chicago was awesome and we got to meet our favorite youtubers! 😊
I listened to this while doing a job late last night. Thanks for keeping me busy on the job. I am guilty and didn't know that you need more than one female Beta in a tank. I was told when I bought it, and I ignored them. It was a newer tank and I didn't want to spend too much and have fish die because it was my return to the hobby. I've been looking for more Female Betas since then and no luck. Our stores are usually low on everything and it's been tough. :( Please don't ban me for my mistakes. Hehehe. Thanks for all the videos and laughs. Keep what your doing.
Agreed. In today's environment, it is all about tribes. Few are concerned about facts or supporting their ?community. They want to "win." Behavior that would never be acceptable in person.
You can say "ASS"... you can say "HOLE".... but if you join those words... it's still mostly censored on TV lol... at least on CBS someone was making fun of that not that long ago.
I kept a small blue gill in a community tank with an oscar, 2 angelfish, redtail shark, a cory, guppies, mollies. I saaw the angel fish attack any new fish, so did not put any newbies in there. The oscar and the blue gill stayed together, so the blue gill did what the oscar did. he was hand fed pellets, liked to be petted. Even raised about 200 tree frog eggs in the tank that my daughter brought hone. No body bothered them. And all this in a 29 gal tank. Would not do that again with what I know now. So yes it depends on the personality of the fish to my way of thinking.
Our fish club would love to have someone like Nathan to join our club.The purpose for having a club is to learn from people in the hobby and to meet new people.Back when I was young I joined a few car clubs that treated like crap just because some did,nt have a hot looking Corvette,or their car was,nt fully restored.So what did me and a few members do we went and started our own club.😅😅😅😅😅😅
I use fish forums. When I have questions I go on or if feel frisky I'll go in and look for questions to answer. I've had one or two situations where I wanted to get into an argument but not in a long time. I don't use Facebook for that. Ever. Because of a very specific Facebook group. A cooperative, you may have heard of it.
