- The GTA real estate market is making me sound like a broken record. It's almost official that this is the slowest May in GTA real estate in a decade and a half. Even though sales have continued to plummet and we are in a technical buyer's market, GTA home prices continue to hold up.
In this video, we take a look at how many sales have been reported in May, what home prices are doing in each region of the GTA, and a new ratio based on terminations I've been charting.

I would expect pre 08 prices when it all settles.. banks are gonna have to do short sales.. hope most ppl dont re up on long term amortizations. They will be inder water forever.. these prices will never return because were gonna have to do a reset of rhe financial system to backed money.. the rest of the world is leacing central banks.. print and pay has reached its limit and the rest of the world are gonna be excepting currency that has lost 5% of its calue before they can cash the check
Prices will come down a bit but the kicker will be that they will remain that way for decades. Very little change. What will change is your interest rate, and the price you pay for fuel, insurance, food, clothing, services, etc. Why? Because we gave you a taste of the good life but now we want it all back. What is your "retirement nest egg" will be no more.
