- Today I’m baking up a delicious corn casserole, the casserole is loaded with two different kinds of corn and tasty ground breakfast sausage, all baked into a cornbread casserole. The perfect side to your Thanksgiving dinner and I sure hope y’all enjoy.❤️

What you will be needing
1 8.5oz box jiffy corn muffin mix
1 15.5oz can of whole kernel corn drain well
1 14.75oz can cream corn
1 beaten egg
1 cup sour cream
2 to 3 tablespoons green chilies they come in a small can
1/2 pound ground breakfast sausage fried chopped up well
1/2 cup melted butter
Bake at 350F

This is one casserole that I've always loved! But, I've never seen it done with sausage!
I love that idea though, because that makes it a whole meal. I had it a while back at a church function and I think they added jalapeños and cheese to it, and it was delicious. But, this recipe looks like it's almost the same with the hot green chilis replacing the jalapeños. And the addition of the sausage is brilliant!

I love this and make it every year. I've never added the sausage, though. That looks good! I always use my 8x11 inch pan and it works beautifully.

this dish is right up my alley. I'm going to make one just to eat myself! BTW, there is no egg in your ingredients list, and you didn't mention the oven temp. I'm assuming 350??

I love all your videos Donna. I know this is a very popular corn casserole, but this is one casserole I don't care for because it has Jiffy. To me it's just cornbread. Do you have a recipe for corn pudding that does not use Jiffy mix? I would love to see one like that. And if you already have one and I missed it, I'm sorry. Please keep up all the good work.

I've got everything to make this except the chilies. Do you think it'd be bland without them? I'm not a fan of spicy so don't keep them on hand. Too lazy to go to the store today 🤣
By all means you can totally leave them out will still be delicious!❤️
