The most valuable thing to me was that you mentioned that you must record the teacher intro video using their platform and cannot edit it. That makes a big difference.
You are badly misinformed. You do NOT have to record the Cambly introduction video on their platform. It's NOT mandatory. Official Cambly administrators state the complete opposite. You have the option to either record on their platform or upload your video. You got some fake news!
Oh my god, this video was sooooo helpful. I was literally freaking out as what to talk about but you have put my mind at rest now. Need to put a few lines together and remember to smile. So after recording the video do I get a chance to see it before it is submitted ? Just in case it was awful and I had to redo it ?
Yes, I can’t speak for all platforms from experience, but I know of none where you wouldn’t be able to watch it before clicking ‘submit’ - I think that would be pretty harsh if any do that. Thanks for your comment, wishing you all the best with your application lovely🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
Hi Charlie, this was very helpful. I have one question: you mentioned you cannot edit the videos; can you delete, retake and upload another video during the application process?
Hi, sorry I’m a little confused. When applying with Cambly, must I do a video with the application and then an additional video if I’m accepted which will go on my profile for potential students to see? Any advice on how long the video when applying should last? What should I focus on saying in this video, really want to get accepted and be able to travel and use Cambly as slice of income. Any tips would be much appreciated. Cheers and all the best!
The person who runs this channel. can't be bothered to respond to your inquiry. 1 year has pastm and nothing from her. The imtroduction video is part of your application & also will be what;s on the platform. There are not two (2) seperate videos. For tips, I suggest you cruise & check out other UA-cam videos. You'll get all your questions answered.
Thank you so much Charlie. But I would like to know, do you need to bring proofs for everything you say? For ex; I am a teacher and I have IELTS etc? Do you have to bring proofs? PS: I’m in Africa.
You don't need proof of IELTs training to put it on your profile, I heard once there was an option for IELTS teachers to get more pay so you might need evidence for that, but just to teach on Cambly and advertise yourself as an IELTs teacher is fine.
Holy moley. I wanna be your student. Do you take students from Yorkshire? Great content here, as I was feeling a little fazed by having to create an introduction clip.
Thanks so much fellow Yorkshireman! :D and I'm so sorry I've only just seen your comment. I hope you managed to do your intro clip & it wasn't scary after all
I believe you still have to be over 18 for Cambly, not sure if they request further education or not anymore, I would think it would be influenced by the strength of your application video :)
Hey Charlie! I am a student of English language, but English is not my first language. Does the applicant HAVE to be a native speaker in order to get accepted?
hiii Charlie! Im a 12 year old girl who watches your videos and its awesome. because of you i wanna teach people as cambly too. not sure if a 12 year old can do it but im fluent at english. im turning 13 in like 4 months now. I wanna know whether you think its okay for me to become a tutor?
Hey, I’m 15 and I’m applying to tutor on Cambly. I saw somewhere that the minimum age is 13 so i suggest that you wait the 4 months if you want to join :) hope this helped
You are unlikely to get those hours from any one teaching company, more in the range of 10-25. People usually pick up multiple to get more hours if that's what they want.
Very helpful. I have been teaching on Cambly the past 8 months. It has been great.
Great to hear!

Based off other UA-cam videos, was under the impression that you an upload a minimally edited video. Am I mistaken?
we dont have to use the ITG background anymore right?
Good teacher
This was very helpful
Helpful information.
very helpful thanks
Really good video. Thanks.
Glad you liked it!
I have a question please; do you have to be a native to teach in cambly?
yes, you have to be a native English speaker
I don't think so, some places they say you only have to be fluend, not Native
I just applied to teach on cambly 3 days ago. How long should I wait for them to respond before reapplying?
Thank you so much
Hi Charlie, thanks for this great video, can I get accepted if I'm only a high school graduate??? Thanks.

Hey Charlie! I am a student of English language, but English is not my first language. Does the applicant HAVE to be a native speaker in order to get accepted?
Hi, yes as far as my knowledge goes with Cambly they only accept native speakers. :(
Can Cambly give payment through Payoneer instead of Paypal?
what is your name in Cambly, why I could not find y?
Hi, do you get the opportunity to redo your Intro video if you make a mistake?
Yes! I redid mine about 15 times, haha!
@@charlieraswrites haha i re-did mine about 50 times lol I applied , they said they will look at my application and that it might take weeks
Your English is so beautiful!!
Thank you! :)
Hi Charlie! I was very interested in becoming a Cambly tutor but what age do you think would be good to start in?
Hi, do you mean what age of student?
I meant like the age I would have to be in order to tutor other people?
@@gladysthebaddest4806 18 years of age.

@@paul-sebastiangomez8737 oh sorry for late reply, Thank u for the information tho!
@Paul -Sebastian gomez, did you get in?
The Cambly tutors'presentations are of a high stañdard. I feel motivated about their teaching styles
Is it realistic to make 40 hours a week, working 7 days a week for Cambly?
I wouldn't recommend it. If it were me I'd burn out very quickly, but everyone is different.
You are unlikely to get those hours from any one teaching company, more in the range of 10-25. People usually pick up multiple to get more hours if that's what they want.
Hey there ❤️new friend here. Nice to meet you❤️
