If the OnS, Manus, and/or Gwyndolin fights had been better, that would have been the record. I guess it's good you didn't get the record though, or you would have pissed yourself then and there.
Elajjaz I'm sure that on this level of practice, you'll be able to get better RNG and go sub-1:17 at least. But RNG is some finicky crap and could take a while.
before you run to the final boss you should dump all you point into endurance really quick so you can run longer with out having to walk while it recharges, may save you some time

This guy rang the first bell faster than it took DSP to figure out how to get out of the first hallway in Asylum. Also, kicking Lautrec off the cliff like, "Ain't got time for you, GTFO."
I don't understand how at 35:50, when he pulls the lever for the elevator in the dukes archives, if you keep pausing or slow it down, he uses a boss soul, but the confirmation box says "Use Soul of Sif?" and he uses it for 16000, but he still has Sif's Soul in his action slot.... Didn't know you could multiple of those in the same run...
what I don't understand is why after quelag when you ring second bell you don't light bonfire where her sister is and then just warp on your way to ceaseless
I was thinking that. I just take on Ceaseless at the same time I fight Quelagg. But I guess the punch him off a cliff method isn't good for a speed run.
+beltnapierdalator If you do that you cant Homeward bone back to Firelink. You would have to climb up from Blighttown, and that takes alot more time than dropping down it later. (Btw the Ladys bonfire is already lit, but you have to rest at it to make it "warpable")
+ImforReally Climbing back up blighttown is a nightmare. I just homeward bone back to Firelink, but I kill Ceaseless after Quelagg while I'm already down there. Then HB back up.
Can someone explain something to me? How he does so much damage with his spells? Im with 50 INT, Logans Catalyst and Bellowing Dragon Crest Ring and im doing half the damage he does to bosses.
He didn't use the darksign, this was a misclick. You need to press menu-left-interact-up-interact-left-interact to quit the game. He pressed menu-interact-up, noticed that first left press didn't register, closed the menu, rolled an arrow, opened it back up, then did the proper sequence of button presses. This quit was to reset the silver knight, because he would've kept shooting point blank, and it's actually much harder to pass him that way than when he pulls out his shield and sword.
With the Gold Pine Resin, you use the second one after flicking the switch near the Sunlight Altar and proceed to hit nothing with it, it runs out as you go into Gargoyles, is it some funky "get it out of my inventory" strat or just in case something gives you a hard time? EDIT: Oh you explained it later, fair enough!
24 minutes and 28 seconds to get to the part that took me over 2 years (with tantrum breaks included)! Not including tantrum breaks - about 40 hours of gameplay and even then I only beat those 2 with a summon + NPC summon. Yes, I suck.
If the fight starts with Ornstein doing a lightning spear I believe it puts him behind smough and takes a long time to a) get in close enough to lock on and hit with spells and b) deal damage without hitting smough, and it's faster to quit out and try again than to persevere when they start out with that attack formation. I believe.

+sammehigan11 DS1 works differently than DS2, he would have to sit at the bonfire for it to count for the Lordvessel; He couldn't warp from that bonfire back to Firelink Shrine, so it would have cost him minutes trekking back from Blighttown (nevermind the event of a death).

Also he's using red tearstone ring
Red tearstone ring boosts damage a lot when you have less than 20% health.

it's because he would have to go by foot at his previous bonfire and it take overall more time to grab the bonfire than running back to quelaag domain

His starting class gives you the master key regardless of what gift you choose.
