Juni/Juli 2022 war ich wieder in Ägypten unterwegs, um die Unterwasserwelt des
Albatros Citadel Resorts in Sahl Hasheesh zu erkunden.
Sahl Hasheesh bietet noch recht schöne und intakte Korallenriffe, und für die Gegend rund um Hurghada kann man hier doch recht vieles entdecken.
Das ist der erste Teil meiner Videoserie mit tollen Begegnungen mit Rochen, dem seltsamen "Red Sea Walkman", Anemonenfischen, Korallen und Unmengen an Fischen wie verschiedenen Falterfischen, Tintenfischen und vieles mehr.

Eine wichtige Anmerkung zum Schluss...
Für mich steht der Erhalt der Riffe an höchster Stelle, aber die letzten Jahre ist die Verschmutztung
der Riffe durch Plastikabfall kaum noch zu übersehen. Fast immer wenn wir am Riff waren haben wir das ein oder andere Plastik - Teil aus dem Meer gefischt und entsorgt.
Mir ist vollkommen bewusst dass der Einzelne nicht viel bewirken kann, aber wenn viele Taucher und Schnorchler das ein oder andere Teil aus dem Meer fischen und entsorgen könnte es doch einiges bewirken und auch noch mehr Menschen die es sehen zu motivieren.
June/July 2022 I was back in Egypt to explore the underwater world of the Explore Albatros Citadel Resorts in Sahl Hasheesh.
Sahl Hasheesh still offers quite beautiful and intact coral reefs, and there is a lot to discover here for the area around Hurghade.
This is the first part of my video series with great encounters with rays, the strange "Red Sea Walkman", clown fish, corals and tons of fish like different butterfly fish, squid and much more.

One final important note...
For me, conservation of the reefs is paramount, but the last few years is the pollution
of the reefs can hardly be overlooked due to plastic waste. Almost always when we were on the reef we fished one or the other piece of plastic out of the sea and disposed of it.
I am fully aware that one person cannot do much, but if many divers and snorkelers fish one or the other part out of the sea and dispose of it, it could make a difference and also motivate even more people to see it.
