The Complete Katha of Phra Rahu @ The Lord of Darkness

  • The symbol of Rahu is the number 8, an influential figure believed to be the origin of all earthly things. For worshipping Phra Rahu, it is recommended to have a Rahu statue, amulet, or image to use as an object while praying to the Deity and chanting the Katha. When you begin to worship Rahu Deity, you should light ten incense sticks and make the prayer in the evening on a Wednesday (anytime after 7 pm). After you have done it, you can make worship in the daytime with the incense only if you wish. But for praying in the evening, you must include the food offerings of black foods and black incense. Sathu, sathu, sathu.
    The following is the complete Katha of Phra Rahu:
