Enakshi Nandi Even if I agree for a second that knowing a language is not essential to critique a film in that language, how does accepting her hindi is not that great 'brave'? If anything it is just 'okay'.. What is the need to be so extreme with opinions?

I've nothing against Ms.Chopra (I actually quite liked her reviews for Hindustan Times) but this interview is missed opportunity. You have one of the best actors in the world, ready to speak candidly on his craft, and one singular theme she stuck on with throughout is allure of money and grudge against power. A critic should realise that these things are petty against the craft of an actor like Nawaz. Nawaz is definitely not the best ad hoc speaker (his speaking is more visceral than elegant) and it is the interviewer's responsibility to derive good responses from an artist of his calibre. He seems to have internalised the craft but may not always express it correctly. It is your job to guide towards using at least the correct terminologies. Indian critics time and again speak of the art/commerce divide in cinema and yet they are unable to come up with convincing terminologies to talk about it. Saying "content-driven" and "commercial" with air-quotes just won't do.

Nawazuddin ....what an intelligent actor n what a sense of humour!! 😀He is so right. He knows how to make a character interesting. When I watched Kahani...no doubt it's a great story n great work by whole cast n crew.. but I came back with Khan... N I kept raving about it for many many days....my regards to the Great actor 👏👏
More than Hindi .His expression of emotions speaks every language.and that's what makes him the man of masses...
Best interview. I'm glad its in hindi. We are living in India. Finally i can feel it.
haeeee! aaj ka toh din ban gya!!!!. ty fc, love nawaz
No one can beat him in acting
Rahil Tawseef irfan khan can
@@DeepakPatel-uc4lt no comparison they are different
no one has to...
Everyone has An unique way of presenting their roles...
so no one's beating anyone..
he's your favourite? keep that opinion, do not arise comparisons, because it's nonsense..
Naren Modi
i, am big fan of him .lots of love & respect from Pakistan .
"Actor to Main tha hi"
How true line..... Attitude of a Real Artist!
It's the world & market which take time to recognise you......But you've always been...what you're
my monday has never been this good
beautiful interview..
Liked the Interview and the way Nawaz answered the questions with good humor. As always Anupama did a great job interviewing. Hearting this video
This is called confidence👍"actor to nawaz the hi bas kaam nahi tha"
He's graduated from NSD and it takes a hell lot to get into hallowed walls of that institute
Raman raghav is a masterpiece... I really got overwhelmed by seeing his acting.. 👌
He is not a star... He is an actor
Perpetually annoyed He is super star .
@@WeRajputSisters oly one super star in world ask to hindi heros they will say the name rajini
Actually he don't care abt it
It was a compliment... The industry needs actors.... Not star... Coz it already has irrelevant and talentless stars... Let him be an actor... Let him be special..
@@theperpetuallyannoyed4074 100% trueeee
I can't forget that police inspector from Kahaani
Kya zabardast actor hai yar. And the fact he gotten fame so late in life its so inspiring, not everyone discovers their true passion n success in young teen years
I've watched many film companion but this episode is the best. He is actually like Manto speaking the truth and making sense not being platitudes or cliche unlike some other artists.
dont know how many times i have watched this particular interview and everytime its so lovely hearing him.. such a straight forward realistic person Nawaz Sir is... keep engaging his audience,, hats of to you Sir!!!!
We need more of such people.
Brutal honest.
Nwaaj and anurag both are ahead of time for Indian audience
The only video in my life i have watched without skipping even 1 sec and even without blinking of eyes and having full concentration.
Actually i didn't watched the video just poured into the mind directly.
Really this man is out of the world.
I wish one day i meet him and learn million things in just a short conversation.
❤️❤️
I can listen to this guy all day long.. he's so relatable to us, as common people.. talented 👍
hats off to you man !!!..pata hi nahi chala ki ye 42 mins kab nikal gaye m to 20-25 min ki video samjh kr dekh raha tha...
Thank you for the subtitles for those of us who do not follow Hindi!! That too his level of Hindi ✌️
I'm big fan of Nawaz.u.ddin siddiqui. No doubt he is great actor of bollywood. Love from sindh.
I WAS IN THE AUDIENCE AND ASKED THE MUKKABAAZ WALA QUESTION after the 38th minute 🙈🙈🙈
MumbaiGlutton mukkabaaz is amazing.Vineet Kumar Singh is 🙌
Time?
Rishikesh Priyadarshi after 38 mins
Yessss..i got u😃
is this edited version ?
A very nice guy. I stopped him on the street in Prague last year to take a picture. A humble man
whatever he said i truly believe that and his obsession with his roles... kitni bar anupama ji na kuch or question pucha par nawaz bhai na character role sa relate kr dia ussa !❗❕❗‼❗
No one could have played his character in Talaash as well as him. He is beyond amazing as an actor, and an incredibly honest and humble human being.
Why I like her Interview rather than "American accent mai Chaaplusi karne wala Mota", she talks in Hindi where matters.
Sanjay Bisht love that bro😂
Sanjay Bisht i too hate rajeev masand
I m not a fan of Masand but his accent never sounded American to me. It's more like a typical South Mumbai accent I guess.
😂😂😂😂
Yaar best Comment..
I died laughing...😂😂
What is more pure than gold?
this interview i guess
hes so insanely dedicated to his craft... living cinema legend
Nawaz is here today only because of his acting.. not for face, family height..co actor... not for the film story or director. Unbelievable!!!!
He looks like Shahrukh khan level intelligent. I'm not talking about their acting both are very different and Nawaz is more talented, but their speech and thinking is quite similar
.
baby driver bhai Vo IIT karke zindagi me kuch kar nhi pata aur actor banke World’s biggest movie star
Shahrukh is diplomatic...he attends every award shows n dances in the weddings ..nawaz is more real n normal
