100% right, Joy! It's almost like people feel like they have a right to comment about your significant other. On a wayyyy smaller scale it is like that for others on IG and Facebook, when you see others regularly. Or especially when one hasn't posted in a few weeks and then a person posts with just a quote or something. And guys AND women can be vicious about body image of others. And unfortunately, it IS to make them feel better or at least to comfort their own insecurities or issues on their own body images. Thanks for the sincerity!
You know, I have never felt more seen or heard from a podcast than this one. With every episode, I feel like y’all get it. I’m a tall girl, but I’m not the stick skinny girl and I don’t have the bbl. I have a tiny pooch on my tummy and I have more of an athletic build, so I don’t necessarily fit the “normal type” shown. So it’s hard for me to find clothes that fit correctly. These companies always think that black women are in 2 categories: that very lean body or the total opposite, with a big booty and big breasts. There are other body types. We all want to feel represented.
The memories of being in high school and charging athletes $5 for me to write a poem that they wanted to give to a girl they wanted to holla at and actually being the one to deliver the note to the girls.
You both are spot on, about seeing the clothes on actual people and other models. I am tall, so if the model is 5'10"- 6'0", then it is a 'no' for me, because pants will be short, and shirts will also be short.
Chipotle workers do frequently act like they are paying for the ingredients. Totally not joking. I've seen this a bunch of times. I remember when the work gave me a pinch of cheese, and I politely ask for me and they gave me another pinch of cheese.

How do I know...my wife and I ordered the same bowl and the amount if steak that gave me was NOTICEABLY less than what they gave my wife and it happened in two different locations. Charlotte and Greensboro, NC. I would say more, but I will leave it at that I don't give them my business anymore.
