I lived in Myrtle Beach for over 30 years. My parents vacationed there in the late 70's and we moved there in 1981. I remember there used to be a chair lift over Ocean Boulevard when the Pavillion and Dracula's Castle still existed. The Pavillion had lockers you could leave your clothes in when you went to the beach and there you could rent umbrellas and inflatable rafts for a few dollars. So many great memories.

Just got home and have been on 7 days straight for the past 3 weeks and this was very relaxing..made me wish I could take a few days off and go back to the beach for a few days..
This made me wish I was at Myrtle Beach already. And I'm glad you showed the early morning on the boardwalk, because we will be staying in North Myrtle Beach, which is about a half an hour away. And with our lazy selves, I doubt we will EVER see the early morning boardwalk.
There are some nicer neighborhoods by the beach that have mobile homes in them scattered throughout the grand strand from Murrells Inlet up to North Myrtle.

Living here in Myrtle I forget how peaceful the beach really is...I can't even remember the last time my feet touched the sand. Great video Mr Myrtle!
