  • After lapping the same track over and over setting up the brand new Scott Gambler, I headed back for a day in the park to check out all the trails on offer. Morgins bike park really is the unknown gem of the alps...but at the same time those who know really do know. Used for testing by all kinds of Pro bike riders, with minimal lift lines and fast trails it's a must do.

    Morgins looks sick!
I guess in Switzerland they've just got the problem that for a day trip it's too far off the usual routes.
e.g. i live in a village where i've got 1.5 hrs to go to Zürich, Luzern, Basel and Bern, so actually quite central. But to go to Lenzerheide i've got 3 hrs 15 min. If i go to Morgins i've got 4 hrs 15min. so above 8hrs of trainride to get there. All times with public transport.
I don't got to bike park for a day by car since i've got a TranZBag, bike bag that you can easily put in your backpack. So I don't have to pay for my bike in the trains. I guess inclouding traffic jam you aren't faster and you can't drink a beer or two on your way home.

Last bit is kinda rough though, going slow because its so sketchy, so your tires arent clearing out all the mud, which makes it more sketchy, so you go slower and collect more mud etc etc.
