I am happy to see YaYa return to China too, however, since she has been in the USA for the past 20 years, this is the only place she knows as home. I hope she will alclimate back to China well.
There is no doubt YA YA Panda is being mistreated for so long. By labelling YA Ya having sickness is just an excuse by the Memphis Zoo administration to shifting the blame on Panda so they escape from being shout out for mistreatment. Look at a normal Panda & Yaya when she came to the Zoo, there is a huge difference, so if it is not mistreatment what it is then why YA Ya is so malnourished, now having an entirely different physical apperance comparing to when she arrived at the Memphis zoo. So make no mpre excuse, Memplis Zoo, should return YA Ya Panda to China as soon as possible. Enough is enough for the bullie & mistreatment of Panda！

You are well assured. Sichuan at least has abundant of fresh bamboo. Not all baby panda can survive and live just like human. If one day you go visit the panda centre in Sichuan, you will know how well treated they are.
No guarantee she will be completely cured for the severe skin disease but will definitely have plenty of bamboos to eat for sure. Please take good care of yaya.

@@elenag1616 Of course I have seen the footage, have you ever seen the pandas in person? If you have never seen them in person then you can't say a thing. Even panda keepers from other countries tell about the strict guidelines they have to follow to have pandas in their zoos. Le Le was also 25 and old, I don't understand why people don't realize that animals have illnesses as well.
@@ivy0226 She has not been starving. Yaya looks bad because she has a skin condition. The pandas all go thru exams, check ups etc. All zoos have a strict guideline they have to follow. Not all pandas like carrots either. I really find it hard that the zoo would pay China a million dollars a year to mistreat their National Treasure.
At least she finally has access to clean water and some edible food now. No more begging for food.

现在是4.11，经过中国专家的检查，丫丫很健康被照顾的很好，而它看起来很瘦则是因为皮肤病。
丫丫的皮肤病遗传自它的母亲，中美两国联合治了很久一直没有治好。

At least visitors don’t throw trash and sausages in the panda yard in the US….or dump water on them, or use laser pointers on their face…
