I grew up swimming & Floating the Jacks Forks & The Current Rivers , I have driven a trk all across our beautiful country for the last 36 years, There are many beautiful places to Cherish, However in my opinion, No where. Is there a place more beautiful Than the Jacks Fork & Current River, I have dive under the water swimming with my eyes open all my life, My Fathers Black Marble Headstone has a Lazer Carved picture of the Rymers Ranch area of the Jacks Fork river where my family have spent so many hours of our lives, We would camp at Rymer' Ranch across the river from a 300 foot bluff, When you set in awed wonder of it majestic veiw, It is easy to understand why Dad always said it was his most favorite place on earth, R.I.P. Dad
This is why my mother’s family settled there from Scotland. Our family cemetery is uphill from the beginning of the Current. I feel transformed when I am there.
We jumped in for a quick dip several times. Saw others swimming in more shallow areas. I’d approach it the same as any body of water. There are some areas I’d probably stay away from, but the water was clear and refreshing for most of the trip.
Now after watching all this beauty and serenity, try it out with countless drunk @ssholes in V8 inboards, plus many types and sizes,(also mostly drunk)blaring stereos really sucks . That's the lower current river, don't know why the f--k we down below van Buren gotta put up with the bullshit.THE BIG MOTORBOATS HAVE RUINED THE CURRENT RIVER I GREW UP WITH
In the 1980s when I camped out all over Missouri, Arkansas, New Mexico, California, Utah, and Colorado, Campers rarely stole from each other. And everyone was respectful of the other campers. Sadly times have changed.

Love floating those rivers. Beautiful part of the state.
Yes, breathtaking views. Do you have a favorite summertime spot?
I have yacked the current river. It is indeed beautiful. The water is fed by springs, so tends to be cold..especially in the caves. Ty for sharing!
Beautiful scenery and music. Thank you for sharing! Relaxing video :)
Beautiful, looks like a lot of fun to be had there. Nice work!☺
Such a beautiful area!
Beautiful. Thanks. Hope to visit one day. Would retire here if warmer in winter.
Always enjoyed taking students here when I was a youth pastor.

Beauty abounds!
Wow!!!
Wow did you record this footage? Very well done! Love this!
I did. Thanks so much. Nature makes it so easy!
Your footage is so smooth! How did you pull that off?
Stabilizer built into the iPhone. It's great!
I've been using gopro aand can't seem to get the same results. If you can take a look at some of my kayak videos I would love your opinion!
GoPro definitely has its advantages. iPhone has been great to me because of its versatility. Get a LifeProof case and it's waterproof & sturdy.
This is why I moved here!
Is it safe to swim there? What's the chance to meet snake in the water? Thank you!
And this is why I never moved FROM here!
