I really enjoyed the presentation. Glad The SD Museum of Art was able to acquire this portrait by John Singer Sargent, it is a very nice painting and illustrates the amazing talent of the artist. The expression he obtains in the face and of course I love what Sargent is able to do with fabric, so real and luxurious and with so few strokes. Hope it becomes one of the museums favorite paintings.

I adore Sargent, he also did many gorgeous male nudes that aren't often shown, they are fairly explicit, but were made with feeling clearly.
