@@livinginidaho we've been somewhat studying states for lower taxes , home prices, and things to do. Oh yeah and political makeup. So does this place exist? Idaho maybe😁
How long is the inversion for in Boise? I lived in Seattle for a time, but I left because I couldn't deal with the constant grey-scale. I live in California now, but I miss the seasons. I don't mind some snow either. But I do want more sunshine than Seattle or Oregon has to offer..
Inversions can last a few days… up to a few weeks. If you come here you’ll absolutely get more sun than Seattle. One of the reasons my family relocated to Boise was for the sun in the winters. What has you considering a move to Boise?
I had heard that the local people in Idaho are not happy with people from California moving into their state. I live and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and now looking to move out due to the crazy people and government. Taxes are going up and the government is even more crazy with spending our hard earned tax dollars. I don't have the same views as most Californians and I did vote for Trump so I'm a minority. I'm retiring soon and plan to move out of California like many have already. I'm sure many don't want their state to turn into another California which a agree with. I don't want that either. What do you see happening in Idaho and how do the locals feel about the changes that are going on?
People in Idaho don’t want to see if change into California… there is a reason everyone is leaving Cali. People in Idaho are very friendly though. Feel free to give me a call and we can always talk more about all things Idaho. 208-264-3211 Thanks for watching and commenting
Boise and Idaho in general needs more Democrats to move in to change that political republican stalemate. It’s a beautiful city, but it’ll have a hard time going forward with such hard nose ideologies. just one man’s opinion
No. What he means is if you are fleeing your state/city due to high taxes, high crime, overly controlling government, but you like to vote for policies and politicians who predominantly caused those conditions, then stay where you are. Not trying to be rude but you're just going to make Idaho ultimately the place you left if you don't change your voting preferences or political party. it's just the truth.
@@martymorgan3085Understood. I was being facetious. Boise actually sounds like an absolute paradise compared to some places & if I were ever to move to the USA (I currently live in sunny Adelaide, South Australia), it would be right near the top of the list!
Looking to visit this summer and maybe retire in Boise area. Hopefully the politics don't change! Thanks for the video.
What has you considering Idaho as a place to retire?

Very well done! Thank you.

Last winter a couple of 3-4 days, but some years it's weeks at a time
Does the inversion last all winter or is it just for a week at a time here and there throughout the winter?
It’s a week or two through out the winter. Not that big of a deal, but it is something to mention for people coming here.
You can go up 4000 or so feet up the mountain and enjoy blue sky above the inversion sometimes.
Everyplace was higher cost than Ridgecrest CA.

Is an AWD car recommended??
It’s nice in the snow… but not a must.

Nope. Keep idaho idaho
That's how you destroy a city. Show me a blue city that's not full of crime, drugs and homeless.
So, don't move to Boise unless you're an independently wealthy Republican agoraphobic.
Got it.
Not exactly…

I heard boise is full of racists. Is this true?
No
What’s your definition of racist or is it the new definition where if someone doesn’t agree with you or have the same view as you it’s been racist
@@ttss5726 no, i mean real racists. Ive heard that idaho is full of clan members & dont take kindly to other people.
