The video at the PULSE CONCERT 1994 is the classic. Also "COMFORTABLY NUMB" from the same concert is the most watch of all FLOYD'S concerts. THE GREATEST SOLO EVER !!!!!!!
This song was actually inspired by Nick Masons' (drummer) love of flying. The voice heard in the pre-flight check list is that of Nick actually recording his pre-flight one day. The lyric paints a vivid picture of ones love of flight and the emotion, the "high" that it can generate! I love this song as well as my older brother loved to fly in his old Cessna 150.
Thanks for the great reaction. You’re right, the video quality is amazing but not surprising for PF as they’re such awesome and perfectionist artists. The moment the guy takes off and the music gets celestial is breathtaking. Take care 😘🦅
According to David Gilmour: "[It was inspired] by the fact that several mornings Anthony would be there hard at work, and I wouldn't show up. I'd call up and tell someone and they'd say, 'Dave's not coming in today 'cause he's learning to fly.' [That was] the starting point [for] something a bit wider..."
please do a reaction to Elvis Presley an American trilogy live from Hawaii 1973 and bridge over trouble water from Elvis Presley on tour 1972 .i love your reactions, there honest and heart ❤ felt.
You realize this isn't Jem uploading these videos. She deleted her channel and social media due to a porn image leaking of her. Hasn't been on UA-cam for almost a year. This is a reupload of older vids she did. This channel was made specifically to reupload her old videos. I know this cause I used to be subscribed to her.
fyi: Pink Floyd always hated video cause it take away your imagination what the songs are about. Quote from Roger Waters( from P.F.) who said once MTV ruin the music industry. Song : Dvae Gilmours experience taking flying lesson. Who later bought an antique Museum of aircraft

Great reaction.
As a Pink Floyd fan, you really must do "On the Turning Away" live version.
Reincarnation through his ancestors in a native tribe is what it’s portraying. Beautiful song
Yes, I don't know who put this video to this song but the song is about flying an aeroplane and relating it to life.....

“Pretty good for 1987”? 😂
What, you thought we were still watching TV by candlelight in ‘87?
This footage looks more like it was filmed in the Northern Midwest or even Canada. Would really like to know myself.
Pink Floyd is the next thing to Jesus Christ on this planet! 😢😢
These is the song that turned me on to Floyd
Learning to fly is the description relating people's desires to use drugs and the uncalculated consequences.
