Thank you so much for this tutorial! Extra thumbs-up for keeping that Bob-Ross-spirit alive and for the brushes download! Cheers!
That's one happy little picture!
It looks so bloody easy, but when I try it it just becomes a huge mush. Guess practice makes perfect 👌
Late reply, but do you happen to use a display-less tablet? I bought a display-tablet that allows pen usage (it wasn't designed as such, since it's an X86_64 tablet, but it was mentioned as defective in a second-hand shop and decided to see if I could fix it, which I could) and I have gotten further in 3 evenings messing around in Krita (trying to draw a person) than I ever got in about 4 years of practicing on the displayless Wacom.
I came to the conclusion (which sort of lead to buying the tablet with a display you can draw on) that I just am the kind of person that needs to look at their hands when drawing.
Every time I practiced, I wasn't ending up looking at the end result feeling frustrated because it looked like nothing I had in my mind.
When I read your comment I wonder if you suffer the same problem of the disconnection between hands and screen.
@@Dutch3DMaster hello! Thanks for responding! What’s really funny is I actually got an Apple Pencil to go with my iPad a few days ago, as before I was using a display less tablet, and have been finding it much easier now to paint environment! I mean, I still kinda suck, but I feel myself improving much faster!
These brushes are amazing. The cloud brushes are magic. Thanks for video!!
Me, Watching: Huh, I could do that.
Me, Attempting: Nope, I really can't.
I think the hardest task is to get the right brushes and colors. That will most certainly get you a pretty nice painting, given that you follow a beginner-friendly tutorial
Get a drawing tablet. Regardless of your abilities, the ability to hold a stylus in your hand like a pen or pencil and the pressure sensitivity just make the whole process a lot nicer.
I just did his tutorial with mouse and keyboard and modifying his brushes so they work better with a mouse and it turned out pretty good seeing as I've never painted before
4:55 Just crazy. That looks like rubbing a scratch card to reveal the existing detailed image already existing under the cover.
Remember, There is no mistake. There is only happy little accident. :D
The moment you started to highlight the Mountains with brown color it was AMAZING! Loved it. Thank you . You are a great digital artist. God bless!
No talk, no stupid jokes, straight to the point. Thank you! Learned a lot from this 🐢
I’m new Krita user, coming from Photoshop CS6 and I am having to re-learn new drawing skills in Krita 5. I stumbled across the video and brushes for the mountain scene to which I found outstandingly good and have installed them ready for use. I wish to thank you for offering the brush set to use free of charge and I hope I can put them to good use and re-create something similar of quality. Kind Regards and Best Wishes.
That was freaking amazing! I bet that would have blown even Bob Ross away.
Thank you for the positive feedback ! Link to download the Brushes is now in the description of the video.
Eyyo what’s the music at the beginning? This is a beautiful painting by the way.
Thanks for the brush pack, I'm new to digital art and I feel like I can use them a bunch for my projects
Thanks for this truly fantastic set of brushes! And moreover it's completely FREE! My only request: could you stop for a moment longer to allow people to see what brush have you chosen and its settings?
woowwww...I wish I could be that expert soon..thanks for sharing the techniques
Beautiful! The World Cup! I'm just starting with Krita. A very helpful and inspiring video.
Thank you for the link to your brushes, I have downloaded and installed per your instructions! They are just great and very creative! Thanks again :)
That was absolutely mind blowing.
I enjoy watching your videos and they've helped me a lot in improving my digital painting skills...Thanks a lot!!!
Your paintings are so good man. I've done Bob Ross before but physically. I'm going to use you as reference for digital. Your essentially going to become my Bob Ross :)
Very cool!, got those brushes and been waiting to do some landscape painting with them.
awesome painting but the final tree kinda irks me , maybe a bit more texture on it looks kinda flat
Thats typically what Bob Ross would do to what I thought was a finished painting lol..but like Ross used to say this is your world you can make it anyway you want....just make those trees happy little trees..lol
@@sonoferin54 Bob Ross almost always destroys his paintings by adding that last tree that's out of place
@@Toopa88 you're a critic because you have neither talent nor skill, too useless to do something great so you hurl insults at great things created by others.
@@souvik169 I mean he's not wrong but still... Bob probably wanted to tell something by this?
This was my first experience with digital painting and it came out really nicely. Did not expect the outcome to be that good, but I can do it better lol
Thanks for the brushes and for the video.
wow! love ur work , i'll surely try this and thanks for brushes

What I like about Krita is its brush engines.
Great painting. It is an impressive set of brushes that you created.

Absolutely beautiful!
Bob Ross would be proud. Fantastic job!
Great painting! Thanks for the brushes!
Amazing. I think your mountains are a tad muddy, but oh my lord that foliage. Such splendid textures! Great job
Wow, you are so talented! This is super satisfying to watch!
Wow ... I start learning digital painting at age almost 60

Happy Little Accidents :-) and that little wave of the fingers at the end

Wow Amazing Love This
Muy bueno, no es precisamente la técnica del maestro Bob, pero se asemeja bastante.
hello sir, i love the painting that you did.. ive watch step by step, the colors, brushes and blending of it.. im exited to make my own but im very sad that i didnt find the first brush that you use.. my krita apps has no brush like yours.. where can i find brushes like you've used? please help me, i hope you can read my comment.. thanks in advance.
you sir are now my new inspiration
You are so talented very beautiful.
Amazing art 👏🏾
Thank you for the awesome brushes!
This is really good good work!
that can be helpfull to add somes instructions/informations during the timelaps to explain the subtlety,
for exemple when u draw the orange rock and the snow on the montain how can u just draw on the parts already colored without going over ?!
Fantastic Brushes and so peaceful watching you paint. Being new to this, I just wish I knew what brush did what. For example, when doing the water, what brush did you use to create that? Keep doing wonderful work, my friend!
Thanks for the brushes!
1:26 I wonder how people drawing/painting on paper/canvas manage without layers ...
There is no undo when using oils like Bob Ross... People take layers and all their effects for granted, man.
Thank you for the brushes!!! i can draw like Bob Ross!!!! yay!!!
Thanks so much for this tutorial!!!! One question left here... how do you rotate your brush looking so randomly when you are drawing clouds, forrest, etc. I can't find shortcut?
This is all very nice and I'm just learning and trying to follow along with your photo but got stuck on the brush you are using for the pine trees in the background...it says you are using Evergreen Dab 1, but when I try this brush it looks nothing like the way yours does....have you modified it?? would be nice if you could be a bit more forthcoming with the brushes you are using. ...and explaining if you have modified them as I have just spent the last 2 hrs trying to get it the same...came close but still not right......so just have to use another type of brush for practice.
Bit disappointing but still a great resource for learning.
Beautiful
amazing
Amazing! Thank you.
Magnifique 😍
nice!! i have photoshop those brushes you use did you create them ?? awesome timelapse btw ;)
Thank you :) You can get the brushes from Deviantart. The link is in the Video Description. I made them two years ago for the free painting program Krita.
1:10 that clouds are more realistic than everything i've ever made :v
14:46 how did you do that brush pls??
if you look at the left bottom corner every time he changes brushes it shows you what brush is current
@@sonoferin54 The question was how the brush was made, not which brush they were using.
Knowing what custom someone is using isn't helpful if the brush is not available to you, while knowing how it's made allows you to make your own.
Of course, in this case the solution is to simply download the pack from the link in the description, which allows one to both use the brush and figure out how it was made by looking at its settings.
Very Very Nice! Are your brushes for Windows only?
Looks Great , when I try it mine doesn’t look as good as your as I can’t control my pen pressure
wow...... fantastic...
wow so bootiful
that was amazing to watch, and heartbreaking coz I cant do it lol
Awesome! I hate to say it - but how do you dry your digital brushes?
wow great work :)
This is cool. Did you also beat the devil out of your drawing tablet?
Are these compatible with the latest version of Krita? Great demonstration, great brushes!
Fantastic work !!! Thank you !
very inspiring nice job
Beautiful painting! Please, can you create a video showing step by step how to do paintings like this? I really would like to learn too. Thanks ☺👏
if you look at the left bottom corner every time he changes brushes it shows you what brush is current.. just go to settings and slow the speed down to 25% and then follow along..good luck
Actually talented.
Im proper chuffed today... i managed to manually install this brush pack on the android version (4.4.2)... now i can do happy mountains n shit on my rooted tab s6 lite!
Hi iforce 73! Can you do it all the same draw in Photoshop?
Amazing work !! By the way what canvas size do you use ?
OMG so beatiful :o
fabulous!!!!!
I need that brush that you used like a pallette knife on the mountains
Amazing mate... is there any way to import the brushes into Corel or Photoshop ?
Gracias!!!
Brutal hermano 👌
And just like Bob Ross - at several points in the video I thought "OH NO, HE RUINED IT!" But nope - it was just fine. :D
Thanks You SO MUCH!
mind bloing (gajab)
Thanks for this...
AMAZING!
The creation of the mountain was truly mesmerizing, it was like the mountain was always there just waiting to be painted
