@@themichiganangler4746 David I enjoy your videos. I fly fish almost 25 years. Since watching your vids I m now spinning a little and using rapla's. I haven't caught a brown yet but caught a steelhead. Anyways enjoy the simplicity of your techniques. Sometimes catching a little brown is way better than catching a steelie.
I've been re watching your creek trout vids looking forward to this year on the Upper White and tributaries! Hoping for some good action this year buddy!
Great video! Brings back memories of when I lived in Michigan. Not that it matters a whole lot, but the first fish was common or striped shiner and not a creek chub. I’m sure there are creek chubs in there too though.
Heck yeah😊
35 more days, cant wait. Hit some type 3 and 4's last week with the warm weather, was NOT dissapointed🎣
I’ve been itching to get out! Can’t wait!
I downloaded that app and hope I can start getting into some fish. Prob will be I’ve gotta travel a bit. Love your videos, very inspiring

I’ve been running 12lb braid to an 8lb fluorocarbon leader for trout lately! Thanks for watching!!!
Great day bud! You ever make it to the porcupines in the U.P.
Never but it looks like an incredible area!
Nice video! I live in Michigan too, when can you fish for trout? Like when are they most active early spring or fall?
I definitely had more action this spring with cooler water temps but they can be caught all year.
@@themichiganangler4746 right on man , do you have videos on how to set up your rods??
@@alem5072 I cover it in a couple vids but my main setup is 15lb braid to a 10lb fluro leader
please tell me what stream this is... ive mainly been fly fishing the rouge and cant seem to find anything over 13 inches..
I don’t share any stream names on here because I don’t want to blow out my spots. I primarily fish in lower SW Michigan though 😀👍
Hey there from a neighbor in west michigan! Which creek is this one? Wondering if we fish some of the same water
Second
.....third 😃
Let me get them sloppy fourths!
first
Trout is delicious as long as you eat it the day you catch. If it sits in the fridge or you freeze it gets that fishy taste.
Good to know! Thank you for watching!
