Yes you need plug to be charge

Yes you can. The microphone volume controls the volume of both, however.

When go to my mom house I can ask my sister to see if charge . I will test it again to see. She the one that had it now

The only thing has is plug keep on so it can charge for day.

I can't figure out how to connect both wireless microphones...
Just put two fully charged AA batteries into each microphone and turn on the switch to the up position. They'll work without a Bluetooth connection.

This was good from my sister . She has the speaker. Not sure. I can ask her to test it out. Or you can write to company to see if they see why the mic does not work. It might be bad mic or the battery

Anyone knows how to charge this?
I just got mine today. By now you have probably figured out how to charge it, but I'll still tell you how. The supplied charging cord has to fit into the "head" of the same type of AC plug that a cell phone fits into by USB connection on the other side of the included charger. The "head" plus the charging cord will then go into a wall outlet. It takes a few hours, and it goes faster when it goes directly into a wall socket rather than an extension cord. The other part of the charging cord wire goes on top to the right of the power button. Good luck!!
