Hello Ms.k is it ok for me to study and use the Nrcma study guide and online test to take the ccma exam I was told the nrcma exam is harder then the ccma because it's a registered medical assistant and not a certified medical assistant???

I failed 3 times, i lost money to scams and reviews that never helped but the major thing is that I've not lost hope
I only studied a lot when i went for the first time last year at but the second time was no easy, all thank to my aunt who introduced me to Mr James am really grateful
Well I've taken the exam for the second time now and still didn't succeed, i wonder how those who succeeded did it.
I'm a living testimony of MR JAMES, he has helped me achieve my dream of becoming a licienced nurse, i encourage those who find it difficult to pass the NHA CCMA exams to work him and thank me later

My instructor sent me the link for this video and I watched all 8 parts of the practice videos 1 week before my test. I took my CCMA Exam today and passed with a 433. This was extremely helpful, thank you !

I know this is an old video but I just passed my certification exam yesterday (ccma) and I just had to say thank you because your videos are spot on and everything you said about studying the answers to the question and not just focusing on the question is facts.
Can you tell me what mostly the questions were about ? Is it hard? How you prepared yourself for it

ms K, i just came to say i passed my CCMA exam this week on the first attempt. I think what helped me the most from your videos was being given the confidence I got from answering each of these questions. Throughout the test, I remembered to flag the questions i was not sure of and would go back at the end of the test and answer correctly.

I appreciate all that you do to help us prepare for the test. I'm taking the test on Wednesday , I feel good about it (today of course, lol) . I'm currently in College preparing to apply for Nursing school. Long story short, I never bothered to take my Certification because I was hired without it, soon to apply to local hospital requiring certification, need to prepare myself for the Nursing field. I took my CCMA exam last year of 2021 in April I scored a 368 I pray to god I pass it this time I felt defeated but here I am placing one foot forward again with strong faith i’m very nervous and keep trying to talk myself out of backing out so I came across this video for comfort & some motivation💯❤️🙏🏽

Thank you for the videos! I am retesting for my RMA soon after not working for years. I agree that there is a lot on the test that is not clinical. It's actually annoying because we don't code, we don't do a lot of what they test on, but have to know it all. Glad to see you here for a clinical refresher. ❤️

Hey I just wanted to come back and thank you for your content and generous help. I passed my exam with a 414 first try. It was not that bad. I did what you said, I knocked out the easy questions and flagged the hard ones, came back to it and finished it within 1hr and a half out of 3hrs they gave us. Again thank you so much for all of your help.

@@amberdavis4017 yes you have to flag it. Once you finish the test before submitting it, they will bring those questions back up for you to complete and then you can submit it.

Hi Ms.K! I know I'm a little late to the party but I am currently taking up the CMA coure and unfortionaly faild it the first time. I have rewatched this one video about 10 times until I have now gotten it and do plan on watching the rest of them for more help. I do retake my exam this Friday and am hoping to pass thisand also want to say thank you for taking the time to break down the correct and also incorrect answers!

Really know the verbage and the terminology and also knowing your suffixes and prefixes are helpful as well

Hello Ms. K, I just want to say thank you! I took my test yesterday 1/9/2024 for the first time and passed!! I started studying a week before MY exam, I did a combination of your videos, I purchased the study guide and practice test which is very convenient as well cause it gives you 6 tries! and the focus review was extremely helpful. I know everyone gets different questions my advice to any upcoming students is, learn medical terminology and what causes such conditions as well as what testing needs to be done. I saw a lot of Phlebotomy, EKG and medical terminology questions. THANK YOU!!!

I passed! Took the exam yesterday and thought I failed but made it through with a 397. The exam Qs definitely threw a curveball and seemed different from everything I studied but watching Mrs ks videos were helpful for her tips alone. 💕

Passed my test with a 419! On my test a lot of practice questions were in the test...like 70 percent and some worded differently. Got mostly admin and patient care. Quizlet helped too. I mainly study out of the Nha ccma book

@@wingyinlam9031 Don’t worry yes they are. I would say I studied for a month and then took a break and studied for another 2 days before taking the test. I didn’t know if I would pass but I did. Please do all six of the practice tests. Then I’d say brush up on some of the main basics. I didn’t study nutrition section at all lol.

Honestly no. I only had no more than 4 questions that came from the practice exam. They word the questions very differently.

@@angelakarapetyan3470 i passed, go thru this videos they will help you a lot, review your study material and try to make flashcard of what you think are you weaker points. during the test double read the question and then look at the answers my best wishes to you
I got my exam results (AAMA) and scored
532. Your questions may or may-not be on an exam but sure does help in many way’s especially in reading the question precisely and throw the wrong answers out first and make a determination between two other answers.
The exam was very rigorous!

I read ,wrote and studied
both and doing the practice test in both books.
It is important that you understand
what each question ask you and to think through each.
I spent most of my weekends studying and tried to review a chapter every night after work ( not easy I know) I scheduled my exam 12 weeks out ( I work ten hour shifts Mon -Fri and used CMA App on my phone) tried to study 2-3 hours every night took Friday night off and did at least 5-6 hours of studying on Sat and on Sun.
I also made CCMA practices like on here to study.
Just remember you’re spending 8-12 weeks studying for something that can
change your life forever!!!
I also made flash cards for medical terminology and carried them with me wherever I went. Get strong in medical terminology you will use it throughout out your career.
There are many practice test on the internet just google Certified Medical Assistant practice exams and you will find them. I’m here if you need to ask anything!

So far I’m averaging 88% on my practice tests, I’ve maintained a 4.0 all through classes so I need at least a 93.5 to keep it.

No do not give up. You are correct in saying these exact questions are not on the test. This is why I reiterate studying the content and not the question. Please don't write down or study the questions. If anything, you should write down the info displayed under each answer option, even the wrong ones. People pass by making sure they know what each of those options under each question means. For example, if the question is which of the following is characterized by loss of consciousness and you see syncope, seizure, stroke, and MI listed, and you choose the correct answer syncope... you should also make sure you know and write down the definitions of seizure, stroke, and MI because if they are options that means you may see them on the test. The questions are irrelevant if you know the content.
Passing the CCMA test is when you study hard, if you can’t study or you don’t have time for your studies I’d advise you get yourself a help like Mr William.🎉❤️

Hi there…I may have written on here before, but thank you very much for doing this. I will be watching the other videos as well as this one over and over again. I am working in the Healthcare field now. I am at the Front Desk for Registration. I currently have my CNA and trying for my CMA to basically take care of family. I have been an Executive Assistant for many years and am now very focused on the medical profession. I purchased the CCMA from NHA and would have to do schooling mainly online. I would love any advice you can give and I’d be willing to pay. This is VERY important to me. I’m 56yrs old and studying doesn’t come as easy for me. I’ve also just purchased Medical Terminology for Dummies 😂 just to give myself a leg up. I can’t afford a lot and that’s why I’m desperately trying to do a lot on my own. Thanks again for ALL that you do for your students.

Hey, Anna! I understand ☺️ Many of my students are in your age range and have been out of school for years. You sound like you are on the right track with watching UA-cam videos like mine and already purchasing the CCMA material. Continue to study and keep the information in front of you and you will do well. You have an advantage with working in the healthcare field already.
