Our grandparents, and our parents passed on these home made foods daily, and seasonal. Moms would start cooking n the morning, and turn off the pot, while leaving the beans soaking, until one of the children return from school, and wash the beans and start them to cook while the rest of the children met her at the field to hoe the gardens, or fields. We would return home before dark. Food would be ready, and the hoe n of the fields would be complete. The next day we moved to another chore. Great job with the garden. Enjoyed seeing you again.😊❤

Do you ever relax by going to the beach; go out to see village entertainment activities; go out sometimes to a village restaurant to eat, go bowling, roller skating, bike riding along a safe bike path, etc.? Don't even KNOW if you all have these activities there. I feel tired after watching you guys work so hard though I agree that work is necessary. But relaxation might give you and hubby's back a rest occasionally. Your family's videos are my favorite ones from your country. I DO RESPECT HOW you guys work hard for your family. Glad you have a loving husband AND son. 🔆
I understand. Yes it does seem like all hard work and no play but as someone who had a childhood in similar surroundings I can guarantee you they make lots of time for rest. Unlike us, they know when work time is finished and embrace relaxation. Also farming has seasons so sometimes it’s lots of harvesting and other times tending and relaxation. Keep in mind that these videos are snippets of her life and may not entirely be work she does everyday or all day long. Filming is usually done in batches for better editing and production.
