Our M usually goes to 18 seconds of glow plug this winter after being plugged in for 4 hours. 20 minute warmup for the transmission and hydraulics to work. Manitoba -40 windchill.
I am seriously contemplating this or the Bobcat CT5558. Bobcat is 17k cheaper but of course Deere quality is something else. 3 questions: 1- how heavy a load have you lifted up in the bucket? 2- when you are at over capacity on a lift or a dig, do you just lose hydraulic pressure or do you get a chime or warning light saying you are over it's limit? 3- what's your fuel burn like per hour?
I have yet to use the loader in a way that tested it's lifting capacity. I can tell you that using it moving heavy materials like gravel and some light digging with a 4-in1 bucket that the hydraulics are very strong. That was part of the reason I went M over E . The research I did was consistent around how powerful the hydraulics are on the M models. I can not tell you if there is an audible alert when the hydraulics are near the limits of their capabilities. I'll have to follow up if I encounter that scenario. I have yet to do a fuel consumption test. I will do that next weekend running a 12' cutter in ePTO. I'm going to guess it's in the 3-4 gal p/hour range thinking about the amount of bushhogging I've done and recent fuel fills. Don't hold me to that.
@@firstgenfarmer9809 thank you so much. Subscribed and will follow your videos. I am also interested in the M because of the beefyness. If I went E I would just get the Bobcat.

Nothing like that in NC! Thanks for watching!
